Tell you what, as long as you put a bit of effort into it, if you write and 
release a decent sized (ie, above spamfic size) fic in any non-mainstream(let's 
say... not Ranma, Sailor Moon, Bubblegum Crisis, Evangelion, and Tenchi Muyou. 
Maybe Ah My Goddess as well) series of your choosing, I'll write and release 
a... hmm... how about a Sazan Eyes fic? There's about ten of those in 
existance on the net that I'm aware of, that's hardly an overburdening. 
Or I'd be willing to do a Fam and Ira fic, once I rewatched the OAVs.

(The message here, of course, is that people write what they want to, and
if they want to write obscure series _they_ will. Oh, and put your money
where your mouth is.)

(I was serious, BTW, about writing the fic.)
