Just one minor note, on something I've seen as an error several times in
fanfics but that I've never gotten around to bringing up:

It's generally been accepted in fanfic that 'Konatsu' is the personal
name, and 'Kenzan' the family name. But I own volume 35, where Konatsu is
introduced, and the dialogue giving his/her name goes like this:

RANMA: Dare da, temee! <Who are you, you [euphemism]!>

KONATSU: Kunoichi Konatsu Kenzan! <The female ninja, Konatsu Kenzan!>

Now, unless Konatsu for some reason was using the Western naming order
here (as the list above was), this clearly makes our kunoichi Kenzan of
the clan Konatsu, not Konatsu of the clan Kenzan. It's a little thing,
and one that I've let slip past me in a bunch of stories (including the
excellent Waters Under Earth), but I just felt it was time for this nit to
get picked.

Oh, and as for the question of a better name for Konatsu's style: I don't
think one's ever given in the manga, but her family business was 'O-Iroke
Kissa Kunoichi' -- 'Sexy Teahouse Female Ninja.' She was also described
as a 'Hyakunen ni hitori no tensai kunoichi' (i.e. a genius kunoichi of
the sort that comes along once in a century) by Happosai. I don't know if
either of these would help in describing her style, but it might be enough
to make do.
