Hi all,

An idea for a fic hit me in the head a while ago...

<flashback>

Wing is reading posts from the ffml and realises that he hasn't written a
good fic recently. Then, hearing the sound of something being swung hard
and fast, he ducked, only to be pummelled by the other object he had not
noticed. It was an idea...

<end flashback>

In anycase, that idea kinda sucked as it involved criticizing certain
individuals on the ml and thought better of it in case I get banned or
flamed or worse... encouraged. 

So, while listening to my computer churn out "Equal Romance" for the
n+1'th time, yet another idea struck me... this time, it was more gentle.

<flashback again>

Wing had recovered from the previous onrush of ideas with a writers'
block. But since one really can only have one at once, or realise that
they have one at a time, Wing was not able to block ideas fast enough...
perhaps that's because as a writer, he's been out of practice, so instead
of successfully blocking the new idea's advance, he was hit dead center in
the head. 

<end of flashback>

So, I get this idea, right? And I'm thinking... hey, has someone done this
one before and if not, will people mind my trying it. So I decided to ask
the ML and see. :)

So, has anyone done a "To kill a mocking bird" and "Ranma 1/2" cross-over?
If someone has, is there a site where I can read the fic, and if not, was
someone else already working on this idea? And if not even that, does
anyone have any general objections to my writing it on the grounds that it
might cause the end of the known world or generate yet another retort from
our loving friend of many names?

^_^; Or would my first idea be more than enough? >:)

In anycase, thanks for the time, no encouragement, please. I get enough of
that from the idea generator who "encourages" me to be a writer so that I
can achieve faster writers' block to better counter the literal rain of
brand new idea blows. .... *thinks for a moment* That sounds wrong
somehow.. just can't quite put my finger on it. Oh well...
