1. The Futaba and Akane fan clubs duke it out in the morning to decide 
which one takes on the two Shimeru teens when they arrive at school

The attrition rate would be too high amongst the factions. They would 
probably negotiate (or fight) over the venue of their challenges (the 
Akane fanclub gets the yard every second day, etc).

BTW: Kunou is just about the only guy in school that *isn't* 

interested 

in Futaba-chan (because he's more fixated on Akane), so the 

Futaba-chan 

fan club fight is independent of Kunou's challenge.

If Kunou isn't interested in Futaba-chan, there would be no fighting 
because, if you recall, it was Kunou who mandated the 'victory date' 
policy at school.

Futaba's fight is a result of a direct challenge against Futaba-kun. 
Something along the lines of him saying "The only way any of you get to 
go out with her is over my dead body", so they try to mangle him.
