I thought this up as a whim. It is the blueprint
for Ranma to fulfill all of his (and others')
obligations while making EVERYBODY unhappy. ^_^

1) Based on the projection that the Amazon Marriage
Law is to improve the bloodlines...
Well, Shampoo doesn't need to marry Ranma to have
   his kid, does she?
2) Based on the conflict of two equally (IMO) legit
and illegit engagements, well, you marry, divorce,
and marry. This will obviously leave one of the
two extremely unhappy. If this was a lemon, then
there would be the caveat that the marriage must
be consummated. (Actually, even if it weren't a
lemon, some cultures would view a marriage
incomplete until the consummation, but to each his
own and so on and so forth...)

There you go. All obligations fulfilled. I need
to stop taking in so much caffeine... ^_^

Or... the whole scenario could just go the way of "A Very Scary Thought" and
"Amazons of Love" wherein however many of Ranma's suitresses (I'm not
exactly sure if that's the female form of "suitor" or if there even exists
such a strange beast) are adopted into the Amazon tribe and he, having
bested them all in combat, simply marries everyone at once. Of course, he'd
have to head off to China to do it without catching insane amounts of flak
from the local authorities, but such is fate. >clap<

Of course, that would make too much sense.
