Okay, I have been reading all the comments on this topic, and it looks like
I am definitely in the minority here. No problem with that. I'm here to
learn :)

The feeling was pretty unanimous: pre-readers are a good thing right now.
But what was interesting was that almost everybody who advocated
pre-readers also said that they do so because the list itself wasn't
providing enough C&C.

WHY NOT?

	Because we're a bit too afraid that we might cause a calamity. We might
hurt someone's feelings. It's not easy critizing someone for anything: grammar,
character interpretation, plot, etc. Besides, it takes time to C&C something.
Maybe I'm saying the obvious, but it needs to be said. C&C is a great way to get
your foot in the ML waters, so to speak.
