After reading the series Futaba-kun Change, I noticed many similarities
between it and Ranma 1/2. In Ranma-kun Change I have placed the
Ranma 1/2 cast in the situations from Futaba-kun Change. I have done
the best that I could to adapt the Ranma 1/2 characters to the Futaba-
kun Change plots while still retaining the characters' personalities. This
wasn't as easy as it sounds, since Futaba and Misaki's relationship is so
different from Ranma and Akane's relationship (Ranma and Akane argue
a lot while Futaba and Misaki are much more affectionate.).
Yes, and also, FKC has a lot more tendency towards being hentai than R1/2
(That's Hiroshi Aro's fault; if you've actually seen the manga, you'll know
what I mean (and no, I haven't seen the manga; other people say the same
thing)), and Futaba actually thinks like a girl, and gets to be a
superstar, and etc. etc. etc. It's extremely hard to intermingle the
series since they are so different. (There's also the fact I hate the
series at the end since it changes so abruptly.)

The problem here is that you've essentially just taken FKC, and replaced
them with Ranma characters. This is not good form. There are so many
possibilities.
Te-RIFF-ic. Just as I'm about to unsubscribe from the list (due to
the volume of mail, which I'm beginning to have trouble dealing
with), some just -has- to write an FKC fic... of course, it's a Ranma-
crossover fic.
While I didn't actually -read- the fic (I must have accidentally
deleted it... would someone mind forwarding it to me? ^_^;;),
there's, well... something that I'd like to say. I've been toying
with the idea of an FKC fic for a long time now, but there's a major
problem in that I refuse to do a Ranma crossover fic. Now, to my
knowledge, there have been exactly three fics that Futaba and Co.
have appeared in: One by Ken Arromdee (though I forget the name,
sorry Ken), Lemon Sherbet (Biles, natch), and this one. All of them
are crossovers. (Well, a mega-crossover in LS's case, but the main
interaction was with the Ranma characters anyway). There has not been
-one- FKC original flavour fic... which is what I was working on.
Of course, now I'm unsubbing from the list... sigh. If you feel like
prereading it when it gets to that point, e-mail me and I'll put you
on the list. :) Keep in mind that there's only about a 50/50 chance
of this happening, though...
Anyway, sorry. I just had to vent, and now I've been rambling on, so.
