Neon Genesis Evangelion: Self-procreate
"Its a boy!!" the doctor said.
Shinji looked at his wife, Rei, the happiest man on Earth, a world he had
helped save many years ago. At the age of twenty five, he had finally settled
down.
"Im a father!" Shinji said, tears almost streaming from his eyes, tears of
joy. He couldnt belive that he was going to be a father. Nothing could make
this moment any better than it already is.
He looked down at the little bundle of joy that his wife had carried to term.
He was so beautiful, the most beautiful baby he had ever set eyes on.
"Go on, hold him," his wife told Shinji.
Shinji hesitated for a moment but finally gave in. He gently picked the little
baby up in his arm, cradling him close to him, close to his heart. "Im going to
be the best father in the world to you. Im going to make you proud to have me
for a father."
Shinjis wife smiled warmly. At this moment in time, she felt like the
happiest person alive. She had Shinji by her side, and now, she was a mother of
a beautiful baby boy.
"Have you decided on a name yet?" she asked.
"Yeah, Adam," Shinji said, "Although it isnt a traditional Japanese name, but
what better way than to give him a name of the first Angel. I protected the
Angel, Adam, and now, Im passing that name onto my child. Ill protect him like
I did the first Angel,"
"Adam, I like that name," his wife said.
At that moment, a nurse entered the maternity ward and said, "Sir, there is
someone here to see you,"
Shinji shook his head, "I dont care. Let them wait. Im staying right here,
with my child,"
"Sir, he says hes your father,"
The muscles of Shinjis mouth tightened. What did he want? He had disowned
Shinji several years ago, shortly after the final defeat of the seventeenth
Angel. They hadnt spoken to since. It was best left that way. "I dont care. I
dont want to speak with him,"
"Go on, Shinji," his wife said, "Go see your father. Let him know that he now
has a grandson,"
Shinji looked at his wife for a short moment. He said, "I dont really want
to. You remember how cold hearted he is. He tried to use you to start the Third
Impact. I can never forgive him for something like that,"
"Go on," she said, "Ive forgiven him. Its all behind us now. We now have a
family. Thats all that counts,"
Shinji bent down and kissed Rei on the lips. "All right, honey. Ill go see
him. Ive been meaning to tell him something Ive never had the courage to say."
Shinji enetered the waiting room and immediately spotted his father. His
father looked the exact same as he did many years ago.
"What do you want?" Shinji asked, contempt in his voice. He was no longer the
scared boy he used to be. He felt no fear in showing his true feelings toward
his father.
"I came here to see if I have a grandson or a granddaughter," he answered.
Shinji smirked. "Father, remember how you treated me when I had been young,
when the Angels were attacking? Remember? Well, I have only one thing to tell
you,"
"And was is that?"
"I never want to see you in my life again. My son will grow up never knowing
who his grandfather was," Shinji said with a smile, "You treated me like shit
when I was young. Well, Im no longer that young, meek little boy you constantly
took advantage of. Now is my turn to be the cold hearted bastard you had been
all these years. Because of the way you treated me in the past, I will never let
you see my son, your grandson."
Gendo said nothing. The thought of not being able to see his grandson pained
him. It pained him even more that Shinjis resentment toward him was all because
he had been a terrible father, a terrible human being toward him, a terrible
person.
Shinji smirked.
"Father, you can go fuck yourself,"
<The end>
Didn't reading that give you that warm and fuzzy feeling ;)
I know, it's OOC, but I had to write it.....sorry for any mistakes.
