This was my take on the story, Jurai-Knight please tell me if I'm 
correct.

Are both Ranma's fundamentally identical as far as mental and physical
potential?  Will alt-Ranma be able to reach Ranma's speed and strength?
(Ranma is weaker than Ryouga, but is still quite strong.)  Does Ranma 

now

understand quantum field theory?  Is Ranma a budding Nobel physicist? 

Even

given the knowledge (and personality) transfer, I don't see alt-Ranma
having such an increase in fighting ability as shown.  The speed and 

power

come from years of physical training.  

The Ranma that started the story had been in an imperial academy.  I 
would think that he would be in fantastic physical shape due to the 
requirements that they would enforce.  Not standard-Ranma or Ryoga-like 
condition.  But still in good shape.

'Strong minds, strong bodies' that sort of thing.

The change came from knowledge of reading an opponent and in increase in 
knowing how his body works through ten years of training.  It didn't 
change his endurance, as pointed out in the match with Kodachi, or his 
damage resistance, as pointed out by Akane's behavior.

Will the curse also transfer?  I'd argue against that.  In the 

alt-Japan

you've shown, his curse would not simply be treated as a curiousity.  

Were

the government to become aware (and with Nabiki on campus, they would 

be),

he would be bundled off to a research lab for study.

I've considered writing a fic where that actually happens in the 
*actual* ranmaverse.
