I liked it too, though if I had to pick descendants for Kenshin and Kaoru
I would have choosen the Tendos rather than the Saotomes.  Doesn't Kenshin's
"oro" and his laundry and cooking remind you of Kasumi, and don't Akane and
Karou have a lot in common, such as a hot temper, an inability to cook, and
a dedication to righting wrongs?

Still, with a story this good this is only an observation, not a 
complaint.
