MG Flash! part 9
Seishin VS. The Giant mutant slug!!
Tsuki jumped from roof top to roof top with Atama following close
behind her. "What the? Oh, man not now." she said as a burning mass of
black shot to the ground from above. It slammed into the street and
created a large explosion that shook every thing near it and set off car
alarms for blocks.
"Wow that was cool!" cried Atama excitedly.
Tsuki turned and looked at her with a look of horror and anger at
the same time. "Shit! What the hell am I gonna do with her?" she thought
desperately.
Atama turned and looked off the edge of the roof into the street
below. It was getting late and many of the smaller the shops were
beginning to close. She spotted the dress she had wanted to buy earlier
and gasped. "EEK! There closing! I'll be back Tsuki-chan!" cried the girl
as she lept down towards the shop.
"Wha? Where are you going you moron?! Get back here!" cried Tsuki
as she debated whether to chase her or the monster. "Damn, Seishin Fire
come back!" she cried.
Atama cheerfully walked into the store and smiled at the clerk
who snickered and tried not to laugh. She was a young girl of about
sixteen years of age and had short cut red hair and a nose ring. "What
the hell are you supposed to be?" she cried laughing.
"I'm Seishin Fire silly. I came to buy..." Atama got all starry
eyed and walked over to a very short black dress and grabbed it. "This."
she sighed.
This sent the clerk rolling on the floor. "Ida sent you right?"
said the girl with tears in her eyes.
"I don't know any one named Ida, what's so funny?" said Atama as
she watched the girl roll on the floor in confusion.
Tsuki rushed into the store and glared at Atama. The clerk
stopped laughing. "What the hell do you think your doing?" Yelled Tsuki.
"Shopping." said Atama looking as if nothing was wrong.
The clerk was gazing at Tsuki as if she was god himself. "Y-your
really her?" she whispered and looked at Atama again.
"Oh, my god." she said and rummaged behind the counter.
"Seishin Star I don't see why your so mad." said Atama with an
oblivious smile.
"You air head! An evil monster just landed in the city and your
shopping??!!" screamed Tsuki.
"Yea, but..." said Atama as she clutched the dress.
Tsuki looked at her for a moment and then stopped. "Hey, that is
cute." she said as she looked at it. "Wait a minute, Atama you idiot we
don't have time for this! We have to go ...so hurry up and buy it."
A few moments later they were on the roof tops again and Tsuki
stopped. "Wait a minute. I can't take you to a real battle." she said and
stopped again. She turned to see Atama had vanished. "What the?" she
cried in shock. "Atama?!"
"Hell I'll find her later." she grumbled as she charged on.
"Probly just saw a sale or something."
In the center of Tokyo, a large green slime covered bulge sat in
the middle of the crater that the impact had left. Several people stood
gazing into the hole some of them with cameras. Zenata was one of these
men. His heart almost stopped when he saw who was on the other side.
"Kyoko." he gasped.
Kyoko stood and grinned as she snapped photo's of the earth's
newest treat to humanity. "I finally beat the old fart to the punch." she
snickered to herself.
"No you finally tied with the old fart." snapped a voice from
behind her.
"Uh, hello daddy." said the girl with a small nervous laugh.
"Don't 'Hello daddy' me, what the hell are you doing here?"
growled the old man.
"My job." said the girl looking angry.
"You get somewhere safe this instant young lady." chided the man
as he stared the woman down.
"Young lady?! I'm twenty two years old 'Dad' I'm staying here and
doing my job dammit!" screamed the girl angrily.
"No your not." retorted the man, neither of them noticed the
large mass was rising into the air over them.
Tsuki saw the slime mass rise a hundred feet out of the hole and
start to lean towards the pair as she neared. It was easily fifteen feet
wide and just as thick and would crush them when it came down if they
didn't move. They appeared to be in a heated debate and showed no signs
of stopping. Tsuki broke into a run as it started to fall. "I'll never
get to them in time!" she thought desperately and charged full speed.
"Look here old man..." yelled Kyoko angrily as she raised her
fist into the air in defiance. Zenata glared at her and looked about
ready to pop a vein.
The next thing either of them knew someone had screamed "Move."
and they found them selves thrown into an alley in a large pile of
garbage at speeds faster than any human was meant to move. The pair of
them looked in horror at what had almost landed on them and shrank back
as it moved forward slowly. Both of them looked down and saw Seishin star
at their feet glaring at them as she lay tangled in her legs. "What the
hell are you trying to do get yourselves killed?" she scolded.
Kyoko just sat dumbfounded and snapped a photo of her. Other than
that neither of them could move from the sheer shock of the near death.
Tsuki stood and dusted herself off. "Look what you made me do to
my Miushi-chan!" she said looking at the pink jacket that was now covered
in garbage. Zenata moved and snapped a shot of her with his camera.
"Hell, your both hopeless." muttered Tsuki as ran into the street
after the monster.
The first thing she did was slip and fall in the massive slime
trail the creature had left. "Dammit!" she cried as she looked to see she
was covered in the stuff. "Why the hell do these things always have to be
so disgusting?!"
The pair emerged from the alley and looked at the scene dumbly.
Kyoko raised her camera.
"If either of you takes a photo of this I'll kill you both."
growled Tsuki as she struggled to stand.
People fled in terror as the creature made its way through the
city towards the nearby suburbs slowly but surely. "My god its heading
for houses." muttered Tsuki as she ran. So far all the attacks were in
the business section of Tokyo. This was a completely different situation.
Tsuki was expecting it to head for the towers and businesses in the
distance but instead it was making a bee line towards the residential
areas.
"My god, do you know where its heading." said Zenata with a pale
face.
"Yea, some where people aren't quite so packed together. It's
less likely to run into large groups of people in the suburbs." said
Kyoko with a hard gaze.
"Thats true, but it'll be families." said Zenata.
"Now your stretching father. We both know that this is better."
snorted Kyoko.
"What?" said the man in shock.
"C'mon dad, Ours is not to fight and die ours is but to live and
pry." said Kyoko with a small smirk.
"Who told you that?" snapped Zenata as he rushed to keep up with
his daughter.
"C'mon dad its the first rule of reporting." said Kyoko with a
laugh.
"If you think that's true then you have a lot to learn young
lady. Let your old man show you how its done." snorted the man as he
pulled ahead of her.
Tsuki was having her own problems. "OK lets try this!" she cried.
"Light bolt!" A small blast of light energy shot from her staff towards
the creature. The slime on its back moved and intercepted the blast. It
absorbed it and continued without stopping.
"No fair! I'm a magical girl and your and evil monster! When I
come up with a new technique your supposed to be instantly defeated by
its power dammit!" cried the girl as she ran over and kicked it in its
side. She gasped as her foot sank deep into the slime and stuck fast. "Oh
shit." she whined. The monster surged forward dragging her along and
getting her further tangled in the goo that covered it. She growled and
struggled in anger almost freeing herself several times. "Enough of this
Light blade!" cried Tsuki angrily as her scepter sprouted the four foot
blade of light. She slashed at the hide of the creature as she tried to
use her feet to push herself off.
The creature stopped and made an angry sounding noise. Four long
tentacle like appendages protruded from the front of the monster and
ended in little lumps of slime and flesh. One of them turned and faced
her. Tsuki then realized what was going on. She was stuck on the back of
a giant slug.
"EEEEEEEEWWWWWWWW!" cried Tsuki in disgust. "Does any one have
some salt?!" she cried the streets were quite deserted and no one
answered. In the distance she could see the lights of emergency vehicles
that were obviously trying to clear the residents from their homes before
it got there which was not to difficult at the speed it was moving.
It looked at her for a moment and then moved back to it's
original position. "How dare you ignore me!?" cried Tsuki in anger, the
truth was she was secretly relieved. Then it started to move again, only
this time it was rolling on its side. Tsuki yelped and tried to get off a
final time before realizing that it would crush her if she wasted any
time. She scrambled up the side of the creature just fast enough to keep
out from under it. Then she saw it, a long tentacle like appendage
created from the slime wrapped around her and lifted her into the air
carrying her towards the head.
"Let me go!" cried Tsuki angrily as she struggled in the grip of
the thing. She saw it lift its head and reveal its open mouth that was
filled with razor sharp teeth that went several rows back.
"Great Seishin star eaten by mutant slug." she grumbled as she
struggled even harder. Suddenly The thing stopped and screeched in pain.
Tsuki felt herself falling and landed on the ground with a painful crash.
She scrambled to her feet and turned to face the creature with a look of
anger. She gasped as a long red line that appeared on its side slowly
faded away. "What the?" she said quietly.
"Evil creature who holds no love for man kind. I shall punish you
for your deeds of evil..." said a low and very feminine voice. If Tsuki
was male she would have found it arousing. Tsuki looked up at the roof
of a nearby building and saw a figure standing on top of it, her hair
blew dramatically in the wind and he figure was flatteringly shown in the
moonlight. She pulled what appeared to be a whip tight in her hands.
"I shall punish you with the fire of my heart." she said and her
whip began to glow orange as she snapped it taught between her hands.
Tsuki was half expecting her to be dressed in leather or
something when she jumped down, what she saw she definitely wasn't
expecting.
The figure jumped into the air and spun the whip creating
circular patterns in the air with expert skill. She landed next to Tsuki
and winked at her. "Seishin fire, is here!" she cried in a serious voice.
"A-Atama?" gasped Tsuki. Her friend was standing there but she
looked completely different. her uniform was unchanged but she had a cool
and hard look on her face and a fire burned in the back of her eyes. She
looked more serious now than Tsuki had ever seen her. The effect was
quite stunning.
"She's been playing dumb with me?" thought Tsuki in shock. Then
something else hit her. "And where the hell have you been?!" she snapped
at her.
"Well I had to make a dramatic entrance didn't I?" snorted
Seishin fire.
Tsuki growled and let it pass. "Lets just kill it shall we?" she
said with a small smirk.
Tsuki and Atama jumped up on top of the thing and stood back to
back as they struggled for balance in the slime. "You take care of the
tentacles and I'll take care of the rest." said Tsuki as she held her
scepter and willed the light blade into being again.
"Right." said Atama as she smirked and slashed one of the
approaching tentacles in two with a simple flick of her wrist. Tsuki
stabbed the monster in the back and shoved the blade in as far as she
could. It howled in rage and the number of attacking tentacles doubled,
Atama easily kept them at bay with quick slashes. Tsuki could swear the
girl was blushing.
Kasumi woke and looked out the window groggily. She could see
emergency lights flashing out side her window. "What the?" she muttered
as she opened the window and looked out. She slammed it shut immediately
as she saw The creature passing her home in the street behind her house.
It was fighting with Seishin star and someone else dressed like a
Seishin.
"Hey look its Kasumi!" said Atama as she looked at the house to
the left. She was a good way off and a fence and a yard between her and
the monster. Tsuki almost didn't recognize the home in the dark.
"Pay attention!" cried Tsuki as she dodged one of the tentacles.
"Hey, Kasumi-chan!" cried Atama as she waved.
"Well maybe she wasn't totally faking it before." muttered Tsuki.
"Tsuki this isn't working very well." said Atama as she looked at
the wounds Tsuki was making seal up almost immediately after she made
them.
"Damn, how do we kill this thing?" grumbled Tsuki as she jumped
down with Atama in front of it.
"It isn't covered in quite as much slime now." said Atama.
"That doesn't help us much. Dammit I hate this thing." said Tsuki
looking thoughtful as it slowly moved forward.
"Yes, it must be punished." said Atama with a gleam in her eyes
that Tsuki didn't like. She charged the creature and began to crack her
whip wildly leaving the same red marks all along its body as before.
"Yes! Yes Yes!! YES! You have to be punished Ha Ha Ha HA HA HA HA
HA HA HA HAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!" cried the girl as she whipped with a crazed
look in her eye. The creature recoiled with each slash and roared in a
high pitched scream. "OH you've been bad." she said finally as she slowed
and gave it a final slash with the whip that sliced one of its eye
tentacles off. It rose from the ground and fell with a sickening thud
splattering ore slime every where.
Tsuki and Atama jumped to avoid most of it. It lurched forward
towards Tsuki and the girl simply raised her scepter towards it. "Eat
it!, Light of love Beam!" she cried triumphantly and blasted it. It tried
to block with another slime shield and failed the attack was much
stronger than the one she used before and it had lost too much of its
protective covering. The blast shot a huge hole through it and the
remains slumped to the ground and melted slowly into a pile of goo.
Atama stood and gasped for breath and held her chest seductively.
"Ooh, that was fun." she said as she struggled for breath.
"C'mon," said Tsuki as she jumped into the shadows. "You sick
bitch." she muttered to herself.
"HA HA HA!" laughed Atama as she followed.
The crowd that had formed at the police barricades cheered.
Zenata and his daughter ran up to the remains of the monster and gasped
for breath. "Did you get that?" he asked her with a small tired sounding
laugh.
"Every Shot." she said with a grin holding up her camera.
"All right you'd better start explaining this right..." started
Tsuki.
Then she turned to see Atama staring at her in her usual overly
cute and oblivious way. "Wow Tsuki! That was a fun game!" she squealed.
"You mean...you were acting?" said Tsuki in disbelief.
"You don't think I did a good impression of her do you?" said
Atama with extremely huge eyes.
"Gah! cut that out! I think you did a perfect imitation with the
exception of the whip thing, I mean, that was totally disgusting." said
Tsuki in disbelief. "If I can get her to do that every time we go out,
this might actually work." she thought to herself.
Atama pushed a button on her whip and it retracted back into the
cylinder. She made a gasping noise and appeared to shake for a moment.
"Ooh that makes me feel all tingly." she said with a sigh.
"Maybe it wasn't all acting." Muttered Tsuki with a defeated
look. "I need a shower." she said finally before returning home.
The next morning Tsuki looked at the paper and smiled as she made
the front page again. Two front pages no less. On one it showed her
looking angrily into the camera in a close up. Beside it was a photo of
Atama standing on the roof top with her whip glowing. The headline was "A
new Seishin Fire?!"
On the other paper was a very flattering photo of her brushing
the dirt off her Tsuki was surprised at how dirty she looked in it,
beside that was a photo of Atama whipping the monster with her leg raised
in the air and a wide and seductive smile on her face. On this page was
the head line "Hot new Seishin appears on the scene!" "Wow, what a bunch
of dirty old men." she commented as she looked at some of the other
photo's chosen for the paper.
"Which do you like better?" said Hibiki as he came into the room
in his school uniform.
"I like the perv, paper. I like the idea of all those guys
worshipping me like dogs." said Tsuki with an evil gleam in her eye.
"Sounds like something your friend might say." he said
cheerfully.
"Not like that you pig." retorted Tsuki defensively.
"Well we all know what high class guys become magical girl
worshipers." said Hibiki with a grin.
Tsuki paled at the mental image. "I changed my mind I like this
paper better." she said looking ill.
"You should take lessons from this Atama girl. She knows how to
do this job. I found her speech moving. Besides you heard how the crowd
cheered." snorted Hana as she turned from cooking breakfast.
"They were cheering because the monster was dead and their homes
were safe Granny." said Tsuki bitterly.
"And one other thing young lady. Whats the idea of giving
endorsements?" snapped the old woman.
"What?" said Tsuki in surprise. Then it hit her. "The clerk!" she
yelled as she grabbed the paper and slammed it on the table.
On the inside page was an ad for a clothing store. "Tokyo
fashion! the shop of choice for the Seishin team!" read the caption.
Below it was a photo of Tsuki arguing with Atama in the store. It came
out looking like they were over excited shoppers. "I don't believe this!"
cried Tsuki angrily.
Atama burst into the room with tears in her eyes. "Tsu-chan! Its
terrible!" she cried.
"What?" said Tsuki looking worried.
"I just realized that I can't wear my new dress!" sobbed the
girl.
"Yes, I know." said Tsuki sounding relieved.
"This add in the paper..." stammered the hysterical girl.
"Its OK I understand. If you wear it you'll give away our
secre..." started Tsuki.
"Every one saw it and went out and bought one like it!" cried the
girl.
Tsuki froze and glared at Atama.
"Hold her." sighed Hana as she grabbed her arm. Hibiki complied.
"You air head!" screamed Tsuki as she tried to pull her way free.
"Run along to school Atama dear Tsuki will be along shortly."
said the old woman pleasantly.
"Where's Tsuki?" said Kasumi as Atama walked up to her.
"She's coming later." said Atama happily as she completely forgot
about her problem.
"Oh, ya know I had the weirdest dream last night." said Kasumi as
they walked together.
"Really me too! At least I think it was a dream, or maybe not.
Ouch, my head hurts." said the girl after a few moments of hard thought.
"Don't strain yourself Atama-chan." said Kasumi with a smile.
A few moments later Tsuki walked next to Hibiki towards the
school. "Remember we're strangers." snorted Tsuki.
"You're tellin me? I can't stand tomboys like you." said Hibiki
with a frown.
"What? What did you say!?" cried Tsuki in anger.
"Oh Come on Tsuki, it was a joke!" cried Hibiki as he was chased
towards the school.
"You bastard get back here so I can kick your ass!" cried the
angry girl as she ran.
