Guys.. this is just The Troll Under the Bridge again, he made a
comment a few posts back that C&C nearly got him banned from the
list.. gee.. who do we know who would fit THAT description.

To try to get this BACK on topic, I find when I'm looking for C&C, I
appreciate two of the three types of critique.

One: Spelling and grammar, my first effort was rather atrocious, and I
appreciate several members of this list setting me straight, making
what was a decent story, somewhat better.

Two: Characterization critiques, because you might have a certain idea
for a certain character, and somebody may have a different
interpertation that disagrees.. I welcome that kind of critique, it
gives me a more complete view of a character.

Three: The type of critique that the Troll Under the Bridge/"The
Critic" seems to specialize in. "This sucks, this is horrible, I
wasted my time reading this" If you got comments that I can use, fine,
If you want to compliment me, ok. But if you're gonna savage
something, please tell me WHY and give me an idea on how to FIX it.

I find sometimes the real worst critic one can have is one's own self.
Case In Point.. so far, the latest chapter of "Iron Fist, Iron
Warrior" (my Ranma 1/2-Street Fighter crossover) has been completed 4
times, only to get slaughtered and deleted later when something
doesn't come out right. I am currently on take 5 of it, anyone care to
pre read so I don't do it again? <G>
