Anyways, I find myself asking why I let myself get dragged into this
in the first place.

I don't have any problems with people C&Cing on the basis of characterization.
I do have a problem with the way Gary goes about it, however.  I suspect
we could float megabytes, or even gigabytes, of spam across the list, and
not resolve anything.

Therefore, this will be my last public word on the matter.
