I just looked at the character designs for some of the characters from
Bubblegum Crisis:2040 that is going to be released by ADV.  
Of course, this is a new take on something that was done a long time ago.  And
there probably would have been changes, both minor and major.  
And, looking at Dirty Pair Flash! as an example, I probably should have
expected it, but...it was a shock.
What was the shock?
Not the fact that Leon looked like a bruiser, much like a random thug from one
of those urban set animes, like City Hunter.
Although that was pretty surprising.
No, it was the fact that they made *sob*
