Wood, Carry Water" are good examples of a writer who takes some
liberties with the original material but turns out a very enjoyable story in
the process).

Oh dear. That IS embarassing. I am very sorry I got mixed up there about
the author of that story - my apologies to both you and Dave for my blunder.
I'm now going to schedule an appointment with the doctor to get my foot
surgically removed from my esophagus.
