Darned if I know.  I just type all my text in the body of the message.
	Can anyone else help this gentleman?

If he had Pegasus I could tell him all he needs to do is highlight block of text he wants 
to quote and press reply. Then chose "selected text" and make sure "include original 
text in reply" is checked.
