O.k, here's this question that's been bothering me for a very long time.
Just how much water is actually needed to activate a Jusenkyo curse? I
know that the standared is a bucket or a teakettle. But does any body
know what the smallest incriment is? Or if there is a varying amount.
For example, do you only need to soak one area, like the head instead of
the whole body? Or do you not even need to completely soak ones self?
There was a thread on the ML awhile ago that started when someone
asked how tall Onna-Ranma was, since her height relative to other
characters seemed to change in the anime and the manga. I think my
answer to that one (which resolved it quite nicely) applies here too:
Ranma is too much of a silly series for that. It's not intended to be
realistic in the least, so whether an amount of water works or not
really depends on whether or not a change is needed (or needs to be
avoided) in the specific situation. Ranma's just not -meant- to
follow -any- laws of physics, even ones that it sets for itself... so
it's about as useful to ask "Where -does- Akane get that hammer
from?" :)
