This wasn't bad, but the main story will have to be really great to get readers
to suspend disbelief. In the context of Ranma, Ranma can throw punches so
fast that they can't be seen, and with enough power to shatter concrete. Yet
you have him unable to disarm an untrained video game coder he's grappling
with simply because the coder has "the strength of madness".

You might want to rewrite that scene, have the coder pull the trigger when 
Ranma's further away, or have the coder shoot at the other american and
Ranma takes the bullet pushing him out of the way. Something to make it a
little more plausible.
