After seeing a good American movie with a predictable crap ending not
to long ago, this unsettling image entered my mind.
BTW, before I begin, let me thank all of you for your positive
response to the TRIO trailer. Let me assure you that I am working on
it and I'd say the chapter is about 1/3 complete. Of course, those
threats of bodily harm if I didn't get the lead out (and a rather...
poetic, message from one) did wonders for my typing speed. ^_^
Okay, here's the short. It's EVA. Post End of EVA. So if you don't
want it spoiled for ya, don't go any further. Plus, see if you can
guess the American flick that's been included.

Shinji and Asuka kept staring at the sea of LCL, which was all
that remained of the human race. They had been that way for many
hours, after Asuka had awoke, and the two tried to decide what to do
next.
Shinji was surprised to hear a chuckle from Asuka and he turned
to face the red head. "What's so funny?" he asked.
Asuka swept her hand to encompass the sea and said, "All of this.
I find it funny because it was brought about so soon, because they
thought humanity was the 18th Angel."
The young boy squirmed as he asked, "How is that funny?"
"Because," Asuka replied, "they were right... and they were
wrong at the same time."
With that, Asuka lunged and grasped Shinji around the neck. She
squeezed, trying to choke the life out of him. Shinji tried to fight
back, but found that something had increased the Second Child's
strength phenomonaly. "As... u... ka," he gagged as darkness nibbled
at the edge of his vision, "Wh..."
Had there been anyone left alive in the area, they would have
heard the wet snap of the Third Child's neck.
"Asuka" stood as Shinji's body slipped to the ground, then she
kicked it into the LCL sea as she snarled, "That's for slappin the
salami over her, when you thought she was completely catatonic."
The girl that had once been Asuka looked around, then decided
she might as well use this last host for as long as she could.
Walking along the beach, she began to sing.
"Tiiii-i-i-me is on my side... yes it is..."
