"Glory of Love"

It was a quiet, Nermia evening, the crickets were chirping, the air was cozy.
And at the Tendo Dojo, things were quiet...
The camera fades into the Tendo Dojo and there, we see dishes, cups
and martial artists sprawled out on the floor. In fact, if hadn't been for
the tattered 'Congratulations Ranma & Akane' banner, we would've thought
that it had been the typical carnage that occurs at the Dojo.
Speaking Akane and Ranma, where are they?
The camera now fades out of the Dojo and into what was once Akane's room,
now her's and Ranma's...
And what is this that we see?
<The piano portion of the song begins...>
We see Ranma holding a sleeping Akane in his arms. Ranma has a very contented
smile on his face as his mind begins to wander back to all the past events...
[Tonight is very clear,
As we're both lying here.
There's so many things I want to say.]
Ranma's thoughts flashback to a time when he and Akane were at a park,
together
and alone. His thoughts then move on to the time when he and Akane were
standing
next to a lake and the wind blew Akane's hat into the water. In a moment of
tenderness, Ranma gives Akane a flower...only to be assaulted by three irate
suitors...
[I will always love you.
I will never leave you alone.]
[Sometimes I just forget.
Say things I might regret.]
We see Ranma calling Akane an "uncute tomboy" and getting pounded
for it by Mr. Mallet.
[Breaks my heart to see you crying.]
We see Ranma (battered and bruised), apologizing profusely to
Akane.
[I don't want to lose you,
I could never make it alone.]
We see Ranma running away from Shinnosuke's hut after he overheard
a part of Shinnosuke and Akane's conversation.
[I am a man who will fight for your honor.]
We see Ranma beating the crap out of Akane's suitors.
[I will be the hero you've been dreaming of.]
We see Ranma fighting Saffron to the death.
[We'll live forever,
Knowing together that we did it all for the Glory of Love.]
We see Ranma and Akane's first true kiss on top of the roof of the
Tendo Dojo, at night.
[You keep me standing tall,
You've helped me through it all,
I'm always strong when you're beside me.]
We see three different scenes scroll by. Each scene is Ranma
explaining to his suitors that he intends to marry Akane. While
Ranma is seen stumbling over his words, he manages to make his
feelings known...with Akane's help.
[I have always needed you.
I could never make it alone.]
We see Ranma and Akane in the park, talking to each other like
normal human beings...for once.
[I am a man who will fight for your honor.]
We scenes of Ranma fighting Toma, Kirin, and Kunou.
[I will be the hero you've been dreaming of.]
We see Ranma and Akane in Romeo and Juliet
[We'll live forever,
Knowing together that we did it all for the Glory of Love.]
The scence jumps back to the night of Ranma and Akane's Junior
Prom.
[It's like a kine in shining armor
>From a long time ago.
Just in time I would save the day.]
We now see the aftermath of Ranma's fight against Saffron.
We see a distraught Ranma who screams out Akane's name. And
a little later, we see Akane's eyes open...
[Take you to my castle far away.]
We then see Ranma and Akane togther at a beach on some tropical
island, away from everyone and everything that they had been
subjected to.
[I am a man who will fight for your honor.
I will be the hero you've been dreaming of.
We'll live forever,
Knowing together that we did it all for the Glory of Love.]
The scene ends back to where we started; in Ranma and Akane's
room. We see Ranma giving a sleeping Akane a kiss on the head
before going to sleep himself. The last image we see is a content
smile on Ranma's face as he slowly falls asleep.
