Foreward:
For those of you old enough (and open minded enough) to know this
song, here's a songfic about a tune from one of my favorite groups
from the 1980's, _Rough Trade_.  (And if you know what that phrase
means, I'll tell you that's the sort of subject matter they wrote
about. O_o)  Pope's lesbianism and dark stage persona just seemed 
too perfect to not compare her to Biiko Daitokuji.

But, enough about my life and memories of younger years....

Shiko Kotobuki sits in her classroom chair looking out the window,
wishing she was outside.  As the same time, Eiko Magami sits in rapt
attention, listening to Miss Ayumi.

Nearby, a silent Biiko Daitokuji sits facing the teacher, but her eyes
are elsewhere, paying close attention to the every movement of a young
girl with a flower in her hair....

          She's a cool, blonde scheming bitch
          She makes my body twitch
          Walking down the corridor

The next morning, Biiko stands outside Graviton High School for Girls
dressed in her most powerful mecha outfit, ready to challenge Eiko for
Shiko's attentions.  While Shiko and Biiko's henchwomen stand by
cheering, Eiko and Biiko battle, destroying half the school's fields
and much of the surrounding walls.

Shiko is yelling and rooting for Eiko, looking sickeningly cute, which
distracts Biiko, yet spurs her on all the more to win.

We see Kei approaching Shiko and giving her a bouquet of flowers which
she rejects, throwing it in his face.  Nearby, Eiko stands looking
dreamily at Kei which throws Shiko into convulsive fits of crying.  A
short ways away, Biiko watches, hatching a cunning plot to get Eiko
out of the way.

          Teenage Brandos stalk her in the halls
          They tease her with catcalls
          She's a combination Anita Egbert,
          Mamie Van Doren,

Everyone stands horrified while one of Biiko's cronies wears the
beautiful dress which Eiko had her eye on.  Meanwhile, Eiko cannot
get arrested trying to make herself beautiful for Kei who has eyes
only for Shiko.  Worse than before, she rejects him and runs home
crying.

Biiko swims naked in her pool, thinking about Shiko, almost touching
herself as she fantasizes about the girl.  Thoughts of Kei and Eiko
intrude, enflaming and angering her, making Biiko sweat.  As she
exits the pool, she is so angry she nearly forgets to put on clothes
before she leaves for the hall.

          What's the principal doing with her?
          Who's that guy - is he screwing with her?
          What's her perfume?  Tigress, by Faberge,
          It makes me cream my jeans when she comes my way

Lured into the alien spaceship, Shiko is dressed in a fancy pink dress
and given all sorts of toys and things to make her happy, but she is
continually bawling her eyes out and calling Eiko's name.

Meanwhile, Eiko and Biiko are jointly battling mecha and aliens in a
desperate attempt to get to the mother ship before it takes off.
Despite valiant and desperate efforts, they don't reach the craft in
time, and they can only stand in horrified silence as Shiko leaves,
what looks to be like forever.

          She drives a candy pink cadillac,
          If I don't get her soon, I'll have a heart attack
          When she flashes me a look, I wanna burn my books,
          Give up high school

Biiko retires to her home, sad that she will never have Shiko for
herself, and Eiko goes home crying, knowing she lost her friend
forever.

A knock at the door brings a tearful Eiko running, wiping her
tears off on her forearms as she opens it.

"I came back!" Shiko says with glee while Eiko cries and
swings the blonde around and around.

Never admitting defeat, elsewhere in Graviton City Biiko is
plotting, scheming, building, and planning a way to finally
defeat Eiko.  She knows Shiko will be hers.
