No one is asking for a decrease of C&C, but C&C means *Comments & Criticisms* not just 
criticisms. It's one thing to actually read a story and then say "Okay, here's where 
improvements are needed." That's cool. But what would you do if you wrote a story and 
someone said, for example,  "Oh, that's a cross-over and cross-overs suck so your story 
must suck and I won't even bother reading it first."  That's not C&C... it can't be 
because C&C involves actually reading a story and making remarks about its content. 
Saying "That type of story sucks" or saying "all self-insertion writers make themselves 
out as big heroes" is generalizing (For example I did one short self-insertion where I 
did rescue the Op, but rather than ending up as a hero I nearly caused Kain to destroy 
the world because he wasn't distracted when he needed to be.. the story ended up with me 
tearfully returning the Op to his rightful place in time.).
