A clever beginning, but to anyone who can't stand to read about the
Ranma/Akane wedding once again would probably chuck the fic before
getting past the first three paragraphs.

I don't have anything against the match, or the plotline, there have been
so many two bit
Ranma-confesses-his-love-to-Akane-and-they-get-married-and-live-happily-ever-after
stories out there that unless I know the name in the "from" portion of the
message I just toss it.  No offense to the authors out there, but I must
begrudgingly agree with GUtB on this one.
