Actually I kind of doubt that Akane would be that mean about the curse 
if she didn't have to marry Ranma and if she wasn't still holding a 
grudge about the bath encounter.  

i think she'd still hold it against ranma about coming CLOSE to being
engaged to him. but without the pressue or the bathroom incindent, they
might still get together, that is, of course, if the author's
pro-ranma/akane...
 

On the whole this strikes me as a dull reality.

Ranma doesn't make dumb 
mistakes and is clearly better than any opponent that the environment 
offers.

when ranma fights saffron, saff's under 20 years or so old right? in terms
of the immortal phoenix, thats pretty young, in the 110 years ranma spent
fighting in the arena, he probaly took on and took down at LEAST 1 if not
more full grown phoenii. he could waste colonge, happi, saffy, herb, toma,
kirin, pantsu combined, and take no serious damage. hes a walking god at
this point.

One of the less interesting bet entries.

can you say MiB? i can already see ranma fighting off invasions from
advanced races. most of his cyber-implants are probaly illeagal by MiB at
this time. it is law, as ranma gets stronger, so to do his enimies. JA ne!
