A Very interesting premise.  Although it would seem that Ranma already 
has the DNA sequence.  *grin*
Seriously, though doing this with Ranma would be a very interesting 
chain of events in and of itself.  Have you considered what would happen 
if you stuck the DNA chain in... say... Hikaru Gosunkugi

Too obvious.  What might be funnier would be if Kuno were the one affected
and he was irresistable to onna-Ranma.  Or perhaps someone even more
unlikely such as Soun (unless Lara Bartram is writing the fic, we can
assume that it doesn't work on close genetic relatives (IT WAS JOKE, LARA,
A JOKE ... <@BAP!>)).
