I know that part of the fun with alternate universe stories is to paint 

the 

characters we know in a different light, but I really think that the 

fanfic

angle works against your story here, rather than for it.  It's a matter 

of

degree.  The characters and situations are so far removed from the 

original

material that they don't seem to have much relation to each other.  

I agree with Grayson here. I realize that this an altiverse fic, but The 
characters don't seem to act anything like the way they should. Ranma 
reading Dante? Kuno slaughtering women and children? It just doesn't 
feel right somehow. Maybe it's just me.
