I received a few emails in the past telling me that it was time for me to get
Kasumi's wish up and running once again.  Here is a section of Chp 6 to show
that yes, I am still writing more chapters to that series.

Auguest 5, 1998

      It was close to midnight and although most people were alseep, one
particular boy was not.  He was on the rooftops of the Tendou residence.  For
as long as he could remember, the night skies were a comforting sight as he
had spent many a days staring up at it during the years he and his Oyaji were
on the road, training in the arts.  *So we're finally settling down.* Ranma
thought.  Thinking back to this morning's episode with all three of Tendou-
san's daughters.

      "So your problem isn't so bad after all.  Ranma meet Kasumi, she is 19,
Nabiki, 17, and Akane, 16.  Pick one of my daughters for a fiancee."

      "Nani?" Ranma, Nabiki and Akane exclaimed.
 
      Nabiki quickly thought of a way to save herself from marrying Ranma.
"He definitely wants Akane."

      "Why me?" Akane angrily turned towards Nabiki.

      "Well, you hate boys and he is half girl."

      "Why would I want to marry a him?"

      "Like I said, you hate..."

      Nabiki was cut off as Kasumi rose and went to kneel beside Soun.
"Seeing as how both Akane and Nabiki do not wish to be engaged to Ranma-kun
and because our family honor is on the line, I would like to volunteer,
Otousan."

      Soun could not believe it.  Kasumi had given up so much for the family
and now he was forcing Kasumi to marry Genma's son.  He desperately wanted to
united the two clans together but the very thought of Kasumi giving up more of
herself for the family was unimaginable.  Before Soun could act, Akane stood
and also knelt before Soun.

      "Tousan, I would not mind being engaged to Ranma."  *There is no way
I'll let Oneesan sacrifice anything more for the family.*  Akane soon glared
at Ranma.  *It's all his fault I have to do this.*

      *I know how Kasumi usually acts but this is strange even for her.  Is
this boy the reason Kasumi was blushing before?  Might as well join my two
sisters.  If he is the one then I'm going to do everything in my powers to get
them together if not then I could always make some money off of him.  He is
handsome.*  Nabiki got up and followed Kasumi and Akane's action.

      With all of his experiences on the road, Ranma could sense another
person's hostility towards him.  At that moment he knew that the Akane's
action had been for the sake of Kasumi and that she was not interested in him.
>From the middle daughter, he had the feeling of a predator stalking its prey,
shivering a little due to the thought as well as the night air.  *It's
starting to get cold.*  Ckecking for clouds, "At least it's not going to
rain," Ranma spoke quietly with a bit of relief.  *Where was I?  Oh yeah, I
was about to get to Kasumi.*  From the moment he met her, she had radiated an
atmosphere of kindness towards him, something that Ranma had not often felt
and was beyond grateful.  When she had offered to be his fiancee, it would
have seemed that he was the only one who saw her smile briefly.  Heading to
his room, Ranma did not notice the glow that started to surround him.

      "No, no, no!!" Skuld shouted up in Asgard.  She had just discovered
another bug near Ranma's file.  Pulling out her hammer, she proceeded to debug
the bug.  In a puff of smoke the bug disappeared.  "Yatta!" she shouted, glad
that she had caught it in time.

      That night, Ranma dreamt that he was on the rooftop sitting next to a
very beautiful girl.  As he and the mysterious girl kissed, fireworks were
exploding in the background.  The next morning, Ranma woke with a smile.
