Dragonbrawl 1/2: (alterniverse/xover)
all char tm/c/r of their owners. people who flame
me 'cause this isn't based on gospel should see a
competent psychiatrist. it's a xover, NOTHING is
as foreseen by their original creators. Toltiir is NOT
a self-insert.
--------------------------------------------------------
"Lukan? My goodness, I haven't seen
you since..."
"Fall of Babylon, wasn't it? Still
travelling the timestreams, eh, Puck?"
"Right. Here to place your Bet?"
"Oh yes. I notice everyone's
having fun with Node RAN315. How about
I do this, and tweak things around a little bit?"
"Hmmm. Frankly, after Ankoku
manipulated that one time stream, I'd allow
this. Just for old times sake. But see that,
there's a backlash effect with the different
time rates of the two universes."
---------------------------------------------
With his two henchmen (okay
one was a woman and the other was a dog,
and they were blundering incompetents,
but they were loyal blundering incompetents
and so that was some measure of excuse),
Pilaf took a step backward.
Yes, he and his henchmen had
the finest combat mecha in the world. Well,
at least that he could afford right now. OK
that they could steal from a mecha repair
shop.
And this time they'd hit the
jackpot. The dragonballs were at last HIS!
He could wish that he was Emperor Of The
World, and it only required he get away.
Unfortunately, he was able to
recognize the figure in front of him all too
easily.
"S-S-Son Goku!!??!?" There
were accompanying screams of horror
from his two henchmen, along with the
onboard computers flashing the
completely unexplained message of
"Oh no, not again!"
"I wish it were someone else,"
moaned Pilaf. He blinked. He couldn't
have done that, could he? After all this
time, he couldn't have...
"GRANTED!" The dragon
formed, and roared, and vanished,
perhaps because he didn't really care
for Toltiir and so wanted to get the
heck out of here before someone hit
the great Shen Long with a romantic
subplot involving Ukyou Kuonji, or a
Saiyajin princess, and/or a horde of
lemming dragon cultists. He didn't
want to go there, neither should you.
The wish flared and was
twisted slightly. It backtracked along
the timestream, mainly because Lukan
was god of programmers, hackers, and
game designers, third level Muse,
probationary license. Putting in a couple
of extra lines of code was right up his
alley, so to speak. Of course, this was
exactly the sort of activity that caused
him to go from limited to probationary
license in the first place.
If Toltiir noted, and it was
likely he did, he didn't say anything.
After all, it was likely to be funny.
Besides, this was a point in
time when both universes were the
closest to conjunction they'd ever be,
so the power usage wasn't too great.
---Ranmaverse --------------
"Hey, you didn't say
anything about that...." Ranma
managed just before the rather large
and unhappy looking panda knocked
him off a bamboo pole directly into one
of the pools of water below.
He hit the water, changing as
Jusenkyo worked its influence. Abruptly,
though, he vanished.
----Dragonball Earth, same time frame--
Son Goku looked up at the board.
Another round robin competition in the Tenkai
tournament. Looked like he was going to have
to fight that guy who looked like a Japanese
barber. Nodding a quick encouragement over
to Kamesennin, Goku started to walk to the
area reserved for the tournament's participants.
He stopped. Piccolo stopped
gloating. Kamesennin adjusted his glasses.
"What's going on?" Bulma asked.
All the high-power warriors had suddenly
tensed up, heck, even Yamcha was acting
like something was up. The woman who
had been walking towards Goku a moment
ago had also stopped and was studying the
sky.
"WHat the!" Son Goku, favored
among some bookies, abruptly vanished. In
his place was a dripping wet girl in a white gi.
"Where? What? How? Huh?"
Kamesennin looked at the girl,
noticed her gi had flopped open, and shot
across the intervening space as if he had
suddenly developed teleportational skills.
-------Ranmaverse---------------
The pool burst, water flying everywhere,
including on a startled Jusenkyo Guide and an even
more startled panda.
Genma, now a sixteen year old girl,
adjusted her glasses and looked up at the figure
floating above the pools.
The Jusenkyo Guide merely shrieked,
ran inside her hut, and only opened the door long
enough to hang an "Out To Lunch" sign on the
doorknob.
"Where am I?" Son Goku was puzzled.
"Where is the Tournament? Why is that girl trying to
flag me down?"
"SON! What are you doing?"
Obviously this woman knew him, though
she was pronouncing his name wrong. It wasn't the
first time, though. Goku looked at her, she didn't
LOOK familiar. "I'm sorry, do I know you?"
"Oh, son, how could you forget your
own father?"
"My father? You don't look at thing
like Gohan..." Goku thought about it. Actually
the woman didn't look like a father at all, but
there WERE parts of his education missing...

this is just a teaser. if someone has the original
teaser where Shampoo fought Son Goku, send it
to me, as i deleted it when i was trying to fit Win 98
on this system. thank you.
more later.
Dragonbrawl 1/2: a bet and a half.
Two powerful beings bet on who can cause the
most divergence from a tiny change in the timestream.
Other beings get in on "the Bet" introducing changes
in other alterniverses. A minor deity named Lukan alters
a single wish made by a single being. The being is
Pilaf, and the wish goes from turning Son Goku into a
child, to swapping him with Ranma Saotome just as Ranma
is entering Jusenkyo. Son Goku defeats Shampoo. Then things
start to get crazy.
