Dear all,

Okay, I'm sure that none of you read my stuff, but if
you have been, you'd know that I've been writing a
set of stories under the heading "Birthdays".  A
project I have up the line is to write a piece for
Mousse.

Skipping the boring details, I was wondering if there
was anybody around here with some talent in poetry...
You'll be writing poetry as Mousse.  If interested,
e-mail me privately.  If you want to know more about
the story you'd be writing for, read the boring details
below.

I could go and rip good poems out of somewhere,
or I could write up a bad batch of my own,
but I'd really like it if somebody who's got
some poetic talent would work with me on this..

If you really want to know, I'm going to probably
go a bit OOC and do a scene between Shampoo and
Mousse.  It'll only be a character sketch, so
won't be too much plot, just a situation.

The premise is that Mousse used to be one heck of
a book worm, writer, poet when he was younger.  In
fact, that's how his eye sight got so horrible.
(staying up late, reading and writing so much)
He's abandoned that in pursuit of Martial Arts,
for Shampoo, {insert your favorite Mousse rant
here.}, so he can defeat Ranma.

Anyway, its Mousse's B-day, but he doesn't tell
anyone because he thinks nobody will care.
Shampoo remember, however, and comes and reads to
him (since he can't read anymore) a book of poems
that he had written for her when they were
much younger.  (They are, suprisingly, not all
love poems, as he was writing for the love of
writing, not just for Shampoo)

Shampoo's attitude is going to be one of pity,
    mixed with genuine respect for Mousse's old
    writing abilities, and rememberance of younger,
    simpler, more beautiful days...

Mousse's attitude is going to start very dejected,
    tired (i.e. he's not jumping at Shampoo).  As
    the story goes along, his mood improves, as he
    finds out Shampoo liked his stuff.

The big dialogue point will be when Shampoo asks
him why he doesn't go back to composing anymore?
After all, he doesn't need to write it...  He
responds that there is only one thing that he will
concentrate on, and that is Shampoo, and so he will
keep on training to defeat Ranma.  Shampoo gets
angry at this point.  There may be hints that she
would find the old, poetic Mousse to be somebody
whom she could love.  In the end, she will leave,
angry, and he will have one last poem... for us,
the readers.

Anyway, if you're interested, write me.  If you're
not interested, and you think my idea stinks, tell
me that too, so I won't bother with it...
