No, no my friend. It happens, believe me. A side effect of being on this
list, even if you don't lurk, is to be expected to be ignored sometimes.
I posted a parody-fic about half a month ago, and only got a few responses,
but since they were such kind comment, it became an issue of quality over
quanitity.

Just try not to let it bother you, and keep on writing...personally, I haven't
read the story you are speaking about...perhaps if you'd repost it?

Unfortunately, "Ranma" is the magic word around here. 9 times out of 10,
nobody pays any attention to anything that isn't in the Ranma-verse.

Not always true, but it may be related to the fact that Ranma 1/2 is such
a fun series, to read, as well as write about. The characters are great for
puttin into different situations, or even re-seen in classic, cliched
situations.

I'm not saying other series are not like this, but Ranma definitely has that
special something about it, that makes many want to get into it. It's:
'Ran-magic'.

I'd agree to that...but I'd think that most lack of responses
may come from the fact that the sheer bulk of the daily postings
can be overwhelming, and  not all people really have the opportunity to
read them all...I sometimes (unfairly, I admit) just pick out a story by
it's title.
But, I do usually store a lot of them in a directory to be read later.

Now, you could argue that if you weren't able to read everything, then
you shouldn't be subscribed here, and you could be very well right.
However, I think it's unfair to expect everyone to be able to read
everyone's fic.

And sometimes, it helps to fuss a little about it! You've gotten more
responses from this than your fanfic, ne?  Maybe it will prompt more
people to make comments? It's worked in the distant past, when I was but
a wee newbie no higher than Tybalt's ban list. May not have made me 
popular, but it gave me hints on how to write a tad better. ^^
