Ah, but that is the curse in regular operation, who is to say what its
affects are in the present situation.

I've maintained for some time that Ranma's female form is not a curse in
the manner of a werwolf, who would return to normal upon death, but rather
it is the transformation itself that is the magic, the form Ranma wears in
either shape, is perfectly natural. 

What the curse does, is allow humans to retain their core personality, and
inteligence, no matter what form they take.

So if whatever trapped Ranma, destroyed the curse, ridding her body of it,
rather then simply turning it off. It could also have removed the
protection that kept her male no matter what body she was in.

One final note. It seems to me, that with no factual basis to work on. your
opinion on this matter is affected by your personel desire. If you like the
idea, of Ranma becoming completly female, then you will accept that he
could do so.

If on the other side, you find the idea disgusting, you will not for any
reason believe he could ever be attracted to a guy.

The two sides will never agree.

I have noticed however that this debat only shows up in responce to a
really good story, that explores the topic. Lemons, and other poorly
crafted stories, don't generate this argument. So I guess this makes Iris a
very good story indeed. Hope to see more of it.
