This idea occured to me as I was watching an episode of The Odyssey.

Ranma while fighting with Ryouga, bashes his head on a wall and goes into a
coma. While Ranma is in a hospitol, he enters another world, where people 17
years old rule and there are no one older than that. As he wanders around he
hears of the world's leader, Nodoka, and journeys for the tower to find out
how he can get home. 

For those of you how don't know what The Odyssey is, it's a Canadian TV
series about a kid named Jay, who went into a coma and is in a world were
grownups don't exsist and no one lives past 16. Jay travels to the tower
with two new found companions that look like friends from the real world,
Flash and Alpha. The first season was about them trying to get to the tower
were the world's leader Brad lives.

Here's the casting so far:

Jay / Ranma
Ranma the pigtailed wreacker, who carries around his mother's katana.

Alpha / Akane
Member of the Cooking club. ^_^

Flash / Ryouga
Why? 'Cause they both were the cause of the main char's coma and both become
thier friends in the other world.

Brad / Nodoka
Jay idolized his drowned father, Ranma loves his unreachable mother. Makes
sense.

Madea / Kodachi
"I won't let you destoy our order, Wrecker! Ohohohohohohohohoho!!!"

Fractal / Mousse
Heh, a nearblind genius. Plus I can use his bumping into things as a reason
for those kids becoming zombies...

Macro / Kuno
"Thou shalt not ask thy self what thy tower can do for thou, but what can
thyself do for thy tower." Plus it'd be cool to think of Kuno dressed like a
WW2 german general.

Finger / Maybe Gosunkugi or Pantyhose or even Ryuu.

Waitress (she has a name in the last season) / Shampoo

Brad-exchange towerkid / Nabiki

Monitors / Kendo club
trading in their riot gear for Gis...
