Diners, or dinners? At first glance, I'd thought that it would be the
second, but looking back at the sentance, I realized that the first might
make sense as well.

"Indeed it is, and it gives me great pleasure to meet an old
friend."

Did he ever meet Ukyou? I'll admit that my firsthand Ranma knowledge is
not very broad.

"Same here. Long time no see! Pull up a chair. I'll do you an
okonomiyaki special on the house, while you tell me what you've been up
to for the last five years."

Tatewaki pulled up a chair, as his host had suggested.

Why the page break here?

Ranma took Akane by the hand, leading her out the door.

<snip>

Akane intercepted Ukyo's arm. "That's enough!"

Akane's got a long arm, there.

Abruptly, a mailbox slid down the sidewalk, seemingly under its own
power. It kicked up a cloud of dust as it careened toward Ukyo. A voice from
within cried out, "Charge!!"

"Damn it, Tsubasa, we only take cash!" ^_^

"I'm saying that 'Okonomiyaki Ucchan's' could end up being
another Otaku Bell."

Pero, yo quiero...*WHAM*

Okonomiyaki Dairiko was their spokesperson -- their mascot. They
came up with her after Ukyo had turned down their offer. They made her
just different enough from Ukyo that she wouldn't be able to sue. Then
they opened up their own restaurant in the area.

Of course, this raises the obvious question: Cutting out Ukyou would save
them money, so if it's legal, why didn't they do this in the first place?

"Many thanks," Tatewaki said, as he handed Ukyo his empty plate.
"I had forgotten how delightful the results of your culinary talents
were. Truly, as long as you live, the name of Kuonji Ukyo will stand
for comestibles of the finest quality."

*sniff* That...that was so poignant! WAAAHHH!!! ^_^

Seriously, though. This was pretty nice.

And thanks for the FFIRC note yesterday. Fun, even if I had to leave in
the middle of the review.

The sardines weren't worth the trouble. A few more shots, then
Ryoga-san would overheat and explode. Ducking around a corner,
I managed to lose him as I entered the ramshackle residence of
my Anime supplier.

One look at his face and I knew that I was betrayed. "Tell me."
I insisted. He refused, so I slammed him against the wall.
"Last chance. Where can Ranma-Ranma find good fanfics?"
"Try Jason Liao." he whispered, before he slumped to the floor.
I heard the sounds of a door splintering as I left through the
window, one step ahead of Tendo Heavy Industries...
