(Soun is wailing, 
(Akane is still in her wedding dress, sitting on the porch facing the Koi
pond)
Akane:
Look at me
I will never pass for a perfect bride
(Looks at herself in disgust, then stares at her wailing father)
Or a perfect daughter
Can it be... I'm not meant to play this part?
(She thinks about what she just said and shakes her head in denial)
(unknown to her Ranma is watching her , she is in girl form and she sees
Akane's tear streaked face and gets angry at herself)
Ranma:
Now I see
That if I were truly to be myself....
(Recalls several times that he hurled insults at Akane and several times he
had lied to his mother)
I would break my fam'ly's heart
(Ranma imagines a dissapointed Nodoka, a sad looking Kasumi and  turns away
in disgust)
(She goes into the bathroom and stares at the mirror)
Who is that girl I see
Staring straight 
back at me?
Why Is my reflection someone 
I don't know?
(With a loud cry Ranma punches at the mirror, it shatters)
(she stares at her bleeding knuckles as a tear flows down her cheek)
Ranma and Akane:
(Split screen)
Somehow I cannot hide
who I am 
though I've tried 
(shows several scenes where Akane and Ranma steal glances at each other)
When will my reflection show
Who I am inside?
(Akane stands up and heads inside the house as Ranma leaves the bathroom
her hand still bleeding)
(Akane walks up to Ranma and starts to bandage her hand)
(they stare at each other, their eyes filled with love ,they turn away from
each other blushing)
