Didn't Ukyo know all along that Tsubasa was really a boy who 
cross-dressed? In my copy of the viz-translated manga, in Part 18, >The 

perfect match:

True, it went like that in the manga, but in the anime, no one ever 
seems to piece together that Tsubasa, "a girl," was at Ukyo's all-boys 
school, and its never clear if Ukyo knew or not.

In fact, they never even make it clear if Tsubasa went to the school, or 
just lived in the neighborhood.
