Why *not* name names? Seems like that would be the most helpful thing
you could do for the authors. I haven't written any Slayers fics, but if
I had, I think I'd be scratching my head right about now wondering which
of this applies to my stuff.

Nothing personal, 2f, but this sort of thing bugs me. Talking in the
abstract isn't the way to help people improve their writing. I've read
lots of expounding by Taleswapper and others about "Annoying new
characters" in Ranma fics, but I never know whether or not *my* new
characters are annoying until people actually read my fics and tell me.

Right now, I'd hazard that Reflect and Chaos are guilty of Thin Prose

the others, though.  Up to you folks to decide if I was successful.

Gee, but to do that, we'd have to name names... :p
