The last fic was from "The Violinist of Hamelin."
Here's the next fic. Excuse my translation errors.

Darkness.
"Damn, that hurt."
He flicked a match into flames, then lit the candle he was holding. He
stood up upon the small pile of bricks he had fallen upon and looked
around. A row of pillars lined either side of the hall he was in.
Perfectly normal for a palace hall. Except for the fact that he wasn't
in the palace. He knew that much.
He dusted himself off and looked up.
"Strange. Can't see the hole. Guess I'll have to look for another exit.
The princess will be worried if I don't return."
The bricks certainly looked new. Course, he couldn't be sure. He wasn't
an expert in bricks.
"Hmm . . . wonder when this tunnel was built. This place is big enough
to be a temple!"
He walked on for a bit.
"Another intersection! I could get lost."
He continued forward and came to a door.
"Ancient . . . Minoan text? 'Here sleeps the monster.'"
To his surprise, the door opened.
<WHO GOES THERE? WHO ENTERS MY LABYRINTH?>
He entered.
"I'm . . ."
The door slammed shut.
He took a better look at the room. The ground was carpeted with human
bones.
<ANSWER ME! WHO ARE YOU?>
"Aurora Andious. I take it that that you're the master of this place?"
<I . . . HAVE BEEN LOCKED IN HERE ONLY BECAUSE OF MY APPEARANCE!> A huge
man immerged from the darkness, his faced covered by the skull of a
bull. The man stepped forward, crushing a skull beneath a foot. <THEY
THINK ME A MONSTER, And LOCKED ME UP FOR THAT REASON!> The man stood
over him. <I CANNOT STAND THE BEAUTY OF YOUR DRESS, CANNOT STAND THE
BRIGHTNESS OF YOUR EYES! I CANNOT FORGIVE ANY WHO DARE LIVE IN THE
SUNLIGHT< WHILE I SUFFER ALONE!>
With a single hand, the man threw him against the wall.
<DIE! YOU SHALL DIE HERE!>
Before his eues, the masked face transformed.
"That . . . that face!
<Tonight, you shall die with that woman! Kill him! Kill him!>
The voice changed. He'd heard it before . . . there.

"Kill the woman and her son! The is the order of the Pope!"
"The woman's hurt! They won't be able to get too far!"

In an alley of some city, a woman lies upon the snow, slowly bleeding to
death. The snow around her is no longer white. It is red. The small
drops of blood that trail her footprints look like flowers that bloomed
way out of season. She doesn't notice though. Nobody does. Who takes the
time to admire such things in despair?
The little girl kneeling on the ground beside her is crying.
"Leave me, Aurora. Escape!"
"Mother!"
"I . . . can't go on."
"No! I want to be with Mother!"
"Go! Go before they find out what you look like! They still don't know
that I raised you as a girl! Go while you still can! They won't find
you!"
"But Mother!"
"Forgive me, child. I just didn't want them to find out. But now . . .
not only do you have the name of a girl, I have also given you the heart
of a girl. . . . and yet, you are a boy . . . and you must become one
that can live on alone!"

And the girl wandered on. Alone in the night with only her mother's last
words to guide her.
<Go on! The snow shall cover your footprints. Live on . . . and someday,
you shall find the answer.>

"Why did you show me that?"
He kicked the man away.
"I have better things to do than to die here. Now . . . fuck off!"
<YOU KNOW THE ANSWER! THE ANSWER IS TO KILL THOSE PEOPLE WHO KILLED YOUR
MOTHER!>
"And if I did that, I would be locked into a maze as well."
He punched the man and watched the masked head slam into the wall. The
mask cracked, and the man slowly got up.
<YOU SEE IT NOW? THIS ABOMBINATION THAT IS MY FACE? THIS IS MY TRUE
FACE. . . . I HAVE NEVER BEEN LOVED . . . SO I HATE EVERYONE!>
Tears dropped to the ground next to the man.
<THAT IS MY "ANSWER.">
"It's not too late . . . come with me."
<I CANNOT LEAVE, FOR I CAN THINK OF NO OTHER ANSWER.>
The man turned to leave. The room began to fall apart around him.
<IF I'D MET YOU SOONER . . . YOU CAN LEAVE NOW. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO
FIND THE EXIT . . . >

He opened his eyes and looked up. A hole. Old buildings tended to fall
apart. He had to remember that.
"You all right?" came a voice from above.
"Yeah," he said.
He opened his right hand. A tear-shaped jewel, glittering in the
sunlight.
"That is my answer, at least for now . . ."
