I'm not sure if this is write, but when I was in Japan, I remember hearing
something about cops not alout to have guns... well, some... please correct me
if I'm wrong!

As far as I know that's true... At my recent trip to Japan I saw a lot
of security and I remember thinking how odd it was that NONE of them
carried guns...
