Trying to explain the idealization of Ukyo this way is problematic.
While it's plausible for Ranma to re-interpret past events, making up
events that didn't happen at all (e.g. him telling Ukyo his "deepest
secrets") would require Kuno-level deludedness. Ranma can't be *that*
far gone, can he?

Besides, in his E-mail reply to my comments, the author indicated that
he was serious about this characterization of Ukyo.
