This is a classic writing challenge. What if a particular series or
movie was written/created by someone else? For example, what if
Sailor Moon was written by Takahashi? Remember Takahashi hates writing
sentimental moments so the characters are always awkward during them,
and usually are interrupted before they go too far. She likes to
leave romantic triangles hanging, and makes many of them. What if
Ryoichi Ikegami wrote it instead? RI has little sense of humor, a dark
view of the flaws of Japanese society and a conspiratorial
perspective that would make him perfect to do a Japanese X-Files manga.
Piers Anthony? At last a writer who will have characters notice all
those panty shots.
As a posible example, I'd like to cite Andrew Huang's Mourning Star, which
in his own words is "Sailor Moon as directed by Anno Hideaki."

"Writing is no trouble: you just jot down ideas as
they occur to you. The jotting is simplicity itself
-- it is the occurring which is difficult."
Stephen Leacock (1869-1944)
"I've got the ideas, I've got the plots, I've got the story.
The WORDS just won't come, damnit!"
Christopher Angel (1975-?)
