specifically. My question was why no one has problems with someone who

writes nothing but

Ranma or Tenchi or Sailor Moon, (which is essentually writing exclusively

about the title

characters.) but a the same time, people tend to think of a writer (any

writer) as

obsessive if they write about Operative A, or Mikado, or Wurzel (from

Lensman).

*sigh* The simple fact is that you're associated with a work that centers
around Trakal.  You NAME YOURSELF after him.  90% of the material you
release is related to him in some way.

As for being obsessive about other characters.....uh...who says we DON'T
point it out?  It's happened before, and will happen again.  I picked up the
"God-Boy" nickname thanks to one of my better known works, and my
love-affair with self-insertion in general.  I expect Donny Cheng has been
accused multiple times of being WAY too fond of Ranma.  Zen freely admits
his Ukyou favoritism.  (Forgive me for mentioning y'all.)

If you INSIST about writing about one character 90% of the time, people will
pick up on the trend, and "accuse" you of being obsessed.  It's a fact of
life that you have to accept.
