RANT MODE: 

  The techno-gods have been against me this past week. 
  The sound card in my computer got trashed. Fortunately, the computer 
was covered under warranty, and is being fixed, but that leaves me 
without my computer and without my writing. Oh well, I suppose I'll be 
free for a week without writing a thing (that may not be a Good Thing 
TM). 
  Being such a dimwit, and, probably saving bandwidth, instead of 
posting my longer stories here, maybe one could go read them at my web 
page? (then again, assuming the server's working again).

  What would a user of a program, say, WordPad, do to fix columns? All 
this time I simply hit 'enter' whenever the text reached the end of the 
row.... so how would someone get, say, 60 columns with precision?
