Alrighty, seeing as I really liked John Walter Biles' idea of a choose
your own adventure fanfiction (all credit for this idea goes to him,
BTW) I wrote up a little program which'll play a type of Choose Your Own
Adventure game for you.
Seeing as I don't know the current policy for posting binary files to
the FFML, I won't post the program. I'll simply give you a place to pick
it up. It can be found at:
http://netnow.micron.net/~saotome/choosadv.zip
or, if you'd like me to mail you a copy, reply. PRIVATELY!
The executable (DOS) is in the ZIP, as well as an example adventure, and
a doc (plain text) explaining how it works, how you can make your own.
And by the by, should you, please send me a copy. :) I'd love em.
If this is SPAMMish, sorry Tybalt, sorry all. The only post I'll make on
this subject, unless it's an adventure file, supposing this becomes used
at all. Just thought I'd add another way to read fanfiction, ladies and
gents.
Have a ball.
Mark Eymer
P.S. Future revisions of the prog forthcoming, I plan to add more
commands to it, as well as make the source available. Speaking of which,
if you want the source, just drop me a line, keyword being PRIVATELY!
It's done in Turbo Pascal 7.0 and is rather shoddy. Any help would be
appreciated on it, too, if anyone would want to.
Later!
