A Ranma 1/2, Dragonball Z crossover

Disclaimation: These character belong to the people who made them, and
the people who bought them from those people.

There was a temple, in the middle of nowhere, in China. In this temple
sat a young man who had spent most of his life wandering. He stared at
the scroll on the altar in front of him. An ancient scroll, barely
legible, that would probably crumble were he to touch it. The words
stated of a mystic portal, that would send him to a dimension where the
greatest martial artists in existence resided.
If he could train with them, he would become the greatest martial
artist to walk the planet. Not even a day would pass in his world, and
he would be gone almost a year. This was all that he needed. He began
to recite the incantation. He did so carefully, making absolutley
certain that nothing was misquoted. The mystic phrases required almost
two full hours of chanting before they were complete.
He waited, he stood and began to leave, his project a loss. When a
sound disturbed him. Looking back, he saw the portal. It opened onto a
plain that resembled nowhere he had been, even in his most distant
travels. He entered, and a tearing sensation ripped through him as he
crossed over, it was all he could do not to scream in agony. After what
seemed an enternity, he was on the other side.

*-*-*-*

The young man wandered for almost a full day before he found any sign
of civilization. He spotted men training, one had spikey black hair and
moved with a speed that seemed impossible. Walking up to the brawl,
which must have consisted of almost twenty men, the young man waited
until the fighter was finished.
The battle ended, with the spikey haired man the victor. It had not
lasted very long, but was still an impressive sight.
The man with the spikey hair introduced himself. "Hello, my name is
Goku. Can I help you?"
"I have come to train with you." the young man responded.
"Um, sure, I guess so. I'll need your name first."
The young man gave it, and the next day training commenced. It was
harsher than anything he had ever experienced. But he reveled in the
thought that the one who had made his life hell would pay, and he would
finally get what he wanted.

*-*-*-*

The year passed quickly, the young man's skill growing every day. He
would never be able to challenge Goku, but he showed immense potential
in the Art. He grew to a level of power that on his world was beyond
unstoppable, and he reveled in it.
Finally the day came, and he had to leave. If only he could find where
the portal would appear.
"Goodbye, and good luck in your travels." Was all Goku had to say as
the young man left.

*-*-*-*

He lucked out, managing to locate the exact place where the portal
appeard. He dove through almost as soon as he saw it. That land had
been a home to him, but this was where he truly belonged. He exited the
temple and faced the sky, he raised a fist in triumph as he powered up
and levitated a few feet off the ground. Now the one who had made his
life hell would pay.
	"I'm coming for you Happosai."
And Pansuto Tarou smiled, and began to laugh.
