I tend to think that Ranma and Akane are more like Beatrice and Benidic,
who come to 'love' each other through the urgings and plots of their
friends and relatives. Still not totally Ranma, he dosent have lots of
girls after him, its more that the relationship between the two lovers
has taken time to ripen from the orginal disinterest or dislike.
