Now, to explain: I was recently playing Breath of Fire 3, when I noticed
something about the hero, Ryu, that reminded me of Chrono and Rudy.

HE DOESN'T SPEAK.  He has zilcho dialogue, even though he intereacts with

other characters in an apparently verbal manner.

[Me] That was "verbal", Link, not "oral"

That brought the above "conversation" to mind.
