Does anyone know which (if any) of the Ranma cast would have been at
school at the same time as Kasumi? Are there any experts on teh Japanese
school system who could hazard a guess at which classes Kasumi might
have taken?

Nope, no one introduced in the manga, to my knowledge
is Kasumi's contemporary as far as school goes.
Also, I as far as I know, the subjects each class
takes in Japanese schools are chosen by the schools.
So expect the usual, biology, algebra, calculus,
Japanese hisory, Japanese language (especially written
Japanese as there are over 2000 characters to learn
and memorize) plus others.

As for Kodachi, what *would* she say/scream out if she woke to find
herself a little too close to Happousai?

Probably something about an evil monster and maybe
try to feed Happy to 'Mr. Green Turtle'.
