And, just to keep this technically in the realm of C&C, was this fic
written just for the reaction, or was it another "idea-won't-leave-my-
head-until-I-write-it"?

It came from a discussion on KawaiiMUCK:  How would *you* cast Gilligan 1/2?
Names were tossed out, accepted and discarded.  Casting the Professor was
the hardest one.  Finally, when we had our list of cast members, White Wolf
said "Okay, who's going to write it?"  To which I replied, "You are."  White
Wolf demurred.

Later, as I was taking a shower, I thought through how the setup would go.
Since I've done stupid crossovers before, I thought I'd write it up and toss
it out there.

I have no intention of writing anything further on it.  Anyone who wants to
take this piece and go somewhere with it, feel free.  I'd like to see more.
