A short tale I whipped up in a night. [I should have been writing other

Enjoy

"Oh, shit someone else is out of Alcohol!" - Fujisawa sensei.

Ranma 1/2 self insertion fic. The reluctant fiancee'

Disclaimer: Insert here. You probably know the drill by now.

Authors note. :Not all monks are chaste. I really just made up a sect and it doesn't really matter what religion they are because they are not really all that important to the story.
I ended up giving Shun Nanami's voice from El-Hazard. It just seemed to fit the personality I was trying for well. Non mercenary and Cheerful but able to make a buck of ya while she's at it.
I know I should be working on my other fic's right now but this idea came to me and it was to irresistible to ignore. It didn't come out as well as I wanted it to originally but I still deemed it worthy of posting. I kind of get the impression that the ending can be seen coming from a mile away. Oh, well.
Also I should note that the perspective switches around sometimes. I am aware of this, I was just sort of experimenting...
[[[[[mild spoiler warning]]]]] Nothing major really, but enough to piss off some picky types.

Sean stood against the wall of the comic store with a frown. He had just enough to buy one tape. It would be Ranma 1/2 or El-Hazard. It was a tough call. Which ever he bought didn't really matter in the long run because he would just buy the other one in a few days time when he got paid. "Aaargghh I cannot decide I love them both!" he cried in anguish earning a smile of recognition from the clerk.
In the end he opted for Ranma. He had already seen El-Hazard as a rental. "Well I've read all of Ranma too so I guess there won't be much suspense in this either." he muttered as he paid for his tape. "Too bad the last few Evangelion don't come out here for a few weeks."
How it happened is unimportant, that it did was. Sean stepped out of the store and found himself standing several feet in the air over a valley with hundreds of springs. "Oh, shit." he said to himself as he fell. His head hit one of the rocks surrounding one of the pools and he felt himself slip into the water as he blacked out. "What a great way to die." he thought sarcastically.

A few moments later he woke up and frowned. "What the hell happened to me?" he asked rubbing his head.
He looked around and saw that he was in a temple surrounded by Asian men in orange robes. "Hello young lady. Welcome to our temple." said one of the men to him.
"Young lady?" he thought as his memories flooded back to him. "Oh shit." he thought again as he realized what had happened to him he felt his chest and frowned. He was flat. He stood to his feet and looked up at the man who stood before him easily dwarfing him. "What the hell?" he said out loud. "Where am I?"
"We were on our way back to our home here in Japan, while on pilgrimage in China one week ago, when our bus had broken down and we found you in a pool of water. The man who helped us fish you out said that it was common to find such things in the springs at that cursed place." said the man.
	"A week?" said little Sean.
"Yes you were very weak and had almost died. Tell me child what is your name?" asked the monk.
"Sean." replied the boy still in a daze.
"Shun? It is a pleasure to meet you. You are welcome to stay as long as you like. just mind the signs and remain outside the areas for men only. You will also be expected to work and train." said the kindly monk.
"I guess I really don't have any place to go." replied Sean. "I guess he got close enough to my name." he thought in mild annoyance.

A few days later 'Shun' was holding 'herself' up over candles and nails in a push up position. "Kindly old monk my ass!" he thought to himself as he strained.
"That is enough for today. Go and help prepare dinner." said the monk to him.
"Sir." replied Sean. He strolled off to the kitchen wearily and watched as the young Boys of the temple leered at her. He had tested the curse a few days before and discovered that although he could turn back into a boy he also remained six years old. Hot water was extremely difficult to come by in the temple and he simply had little choice but to remain a girl. He had considered telling the men about the curse but decided against it. As hard as he was living the men had it harder. He cooked, cleaned, did laundry, and trained in Kung fu. Other than that he was free to do as he pleased. Then they arrived. Ranma and Genma Saotome. They were there on their infamous training voyage and were to stay for a few weeks to learn Kung fu. Ranma was to help with the chores while Genma meditated with the monks in exchange for the lessons and boarding.
Shun as he had become known became quick friends with Ranma as he was in the kitchen constantly. Shun had proven herself to be quite a good cook for someone her age and she was learning more every day. Plus the fact that she spent much of her free time in the training yard trying to do some of the more advanced Kung fu forms as she watched them practice. It wasn't that she was obsessive or anything. There just wasn't that much else to do.
She found herself spending allot of time with Ranma as the pair played together. Mostly things like tag and very light sparring. They spent nights talking and basically being little boys.
It also came to Shaun’s attention that one of the older and uglier boy's in the temple had become...smitten with her charms. He was a grotesque gorilla of a boy who almost every other child feared because of his temper. Shun was no exemption.
It was a terrible day when the monk who had taken him in came to
'her' to discuss the preparations for the arrangements. He had mentioned it to her mostly by accident.
"Shun do you like Munchi?" he asked as he walked with her down the hall.
"Why you gonna try to marry me off to him?" she had asked jokingly. The monks silence told her everything. "No no way! I'd rather marry Ranma than that over grown tub of lard!" she cried. You can guess what followed. The agreement was drawn up within the hour...

I loved it. I had nothing to worry about after that. Tubbo got beaten out of his claim to me by a totally oblivious Ranma the next day and I never had to marry him because he would fall in love with Akane in a few years. I stayed as an untouchable bride to be for ten years after that living the hard temple life, which honestly wasn't all that bad. As corny as it sounds, I also mastered Kung fu. I should also say, even though it sounds just as bad that I learned a few techniques that I read from the manga, well a little modified. I got the 'Pulling rice from a boiling pot training', and the 'breaking point', well not exactly. Mine didn't involve hitting myself with rocks. Just meditating until I could see the breaking point on my own. Call me a wuss why don't ya. I ain't hitting myself with boulders, you got any idea how long it took for the burn scars to go away after that rice thing? It should also be noted that fifteen year old Ryoga Hibiki learned his razor cloth thing, ya know the bandannas and the belt, from this temple, so did I. I didn't really talk to him while he was there mostly because he was obsessive and shy. He also didn't stay long. But hey, I tried to be friends, he wasn't rude or anything, quite the opposite in fact. He just showed no real interest. Maybe he'll remember me when I meet him again...

"So here I am ten years later in Nerima." said Shun with a smile as she walked through the streets. She had managed to scrounge together enough money to start her own business and was looking forward to seeing her 'fiancee' again. Ranma had been the only real guy friend she had in the temple. She looked across the street and saw that Ucchan's was there. She walked over and looked at it curiously.
"Can I help you?" asked a familiar voice from behind her. Shun turned and smiled.
"Hey, just checking out the competition." she said to Ukyo who had walked up behind her.
"So, your the girl who bought that Yakatori place." said Ukyo with a smirk. "Cmon in, I'm new here myself." she said pleasantly.
"I don't think so. Ya see thats not all I meant." said Shun with an intelligent smile.
	"What?" said Ukyo in shock.
"Your Ranma Saotome's Fiancee' aren't you?" asked Shun calmly.
"Yea, what of it?" asked Ukyo suspiciously.
"Welcome to the club." said Shun.
	"What?" said Ukyo again.
"Ranma Saotome has more fiancee's than even he knows about. I aim to collect." Shun said with a frown as she appraised Ukyo.
"You keep your hands off him you hussy!" cried Ukyo in anger as she pulled her spatula off her back.
"If you want to win you'll have to do it fairly I'm afraid. I won't argue with you about it, or fight with you. It won't matter in the end, its who Ranma chooses that matters." Said Shun calmly.
"He doesn't have a choice, he is going to marry me." said Ukyo flatly.
"Then you have absolutely nothing to worry about do you?" asked Shun as she turned and walked towards her new store. "Man this is going to be fun." she thought to herself as she walked back to her store.

"Your getting sloppy Ranma!" laughed Genma as he kicked at Ranma who dodged and kicked back.
"Your just getting old and slow old man." he quipped back.
"Ranma Saotome?" said a feminine voice from the front yard.
Ranma and Genma turned to see a young red haired girl standing on the wall with a grin on her face. Genma went pale and dove for the pond that was still out of the girl's view.
Ranma didn't notice. "Uh, do I know you?" he asked her and scratched his head.
Genma held up a sign from around the corner that said "Hide boy!"
Ranma saw this and frowned. "You aren't out for revenge or trying to marry me are you?" he asked with a sigh.
"Yea, the latter." she said with a nervous giggle.
"Again?! Pop you have some explaining to do!" he yelled at the panda who was playing with a beach ball.
"Is that something you brought back from China?" asked the girl as she jumped down next to Ranma smiling cheerfully.
"Uh, yea something like that." he said to her laughing nervously.
"You really don't recognize me?" asked the girl with a frown.
Ranma looked at her and thought for a really long time. "Uhhh, yes?" he said finally. Then it hit him. "Shun chan?" he said staring at her hair for a moment.
"Of course. How many red heads do you know in Japan?" she said smirking at him.
"Just you." he said after another moment of thought.
"Well its nice to see you haven't changed." said Shun calmly.
"Uh yea, Did pop get you engaged to me?" he asked looking sheepish.
"I'm afraid so, and the contract was signed on holy ground." said Shun with a huge grin.
"Ranma, who is that?" said yet another familiar voice from behind him.
"Uh oh." said Ranma looking very afraid.
	"Ranma's fiancee'." said Shun calmly.
Akane glared at Ranma for a moment and began to glow blue. "Ranma!" she growled at him.
"I-I can explain." stammered Ranma as he backed away. "Pop-"
Akane charged at him and he gave up and sighed.
"What do you think your doing?" asked Shun as she grabbed Akane's wrist and threw her to the ground.
"This is none of your business." snapped Akane as she landed on her feet in a defensive posture.
"I'm afraid it is, Ranma is my fiancee' and at the very least my friend. I won't allow you to hurt him. This is not his fault or mine." said Shun to Akane calmly.
Akane growled and sat down on the grass. "Fine, go ahead Ranma." she said bitterly.
"Here's my card Ranma. Stop by and see me later. I won't be bullied by this childish little girl." said Shun as she jumped away.

A few day's later Cologne stopped by. "Well it seems your doing quite well for yourself my dear." she said as she walked in to the small Yakatori Restaurant.
"Your from the Cat Cafe' right?" asked Shun as she watched Cologne warily.
"Yes, just thought I'd stop by and check out the competition." said Cologne with a smile.
"Business or Ranma?" asked Shun jokingly
	"Both." said Cologne.
"Well, I wouldn't worry much. I'm not really expecting to win. I have to play along because the contract was signed on holy ground, I'm sure you heard about that incident with Ukyo. I just like pulling her chain. You hungry?" said Shun absently as she prepared several dishes for the few customers in the store.
"Tell me. Where did you learn the chestnut fist?" said Cologne sharply as she eyed the girls movements.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" said the girl.
"That." said Cologne pointing at Shaun’s hands as they blurred for a moment over the rice pot.
"Oh, you mean pulling rice out of boiling water?" she asked Cologne. "I grew up in a monastery. I learned a little martial arts while I was there." she said cheerfully.
"I see." said Cologne as she walked out. "I thank you for your time."
Shun was really enjoying herself yet again. A few moments later Ranma came in looking battered. "Hey Ranchan, What happened?" she asked him.
"Well first Ryoga showed up and then Kuno, Akane got some weird wrong Idea in her head and...."

A few days pass and Ryoga stumbles through the door of the Yakatori shack. "Hey I know you." said Shun looking thoughtful "Ryoga Hibiki right?" she asked him cheerfully.
	"Yea, uhh how?.." began Ryoga.
"I was at that temple you stayed at for a little while about a year ago. I can imagine you not remembering but we didn't get many visitors out there." said Shun smiling at him in her usual cheery disposition. It was kind of making her sick.
"Oh yes, I remember now. You were the girl who used to watch the men’s practice and do it with them from the court yard." he said to her.
"Yup." said the girl with her grin widening.
"You were very good." said Ryoga politely.
"Thanks, what can I do ya for?" she asked him.
"Could you tell me where the Tendo dojo is? I'm kind of lost." said Ryoga with a fanged grin.

"Hey Mousse what's up?" asked Shun as the blind boy stumbled into the place.
"I hate Ranma." he said as he sat down.
"Why is that?" asked the girl as she leaned on the counter.
"Whats it to you, You want to marry him too." he grumbled at her.
"Doesn't mean I don't care." said Shun calmly. "He's really a pretty trust worthy guy most of the time. Not always but usually, unless you have something he wants." she said with a smile.
"Yea and he has Shampoo." grumbled Mousse.
"But does he want her?" said Shun pretending to look thoughtful.
"Of course! Who wouldn't?" yelled Mousse.
"I wouldn't, what makes you think Ranma's any different?" said Shun flatly.
"Your a girl though." muttered Mousse.
"Why does that matter? Believing that every guy has the same desires and feelings as you is the height of ignorance." said Shun flatly.
"Ranma is gay?" asked Mousse in suprise.
"Get some sleep. Maybe it will sink in when your older." said Shun with a resigned sigh.
"I should have known better that to try to talk some sense into these fools." she thought to herself.

A few days later Shun began school.

"Class this is Shun? Uh..." stammered Miss Hinako as she looked for the rest of the name.
"I have no family name." replied Shun with a smile.
"Why is that?" said one of the boys who was drooling.
"Because, its personal." said Shun calmly.
She took her seat and was amused to see the boy's drooling and staring at her. "Hey guys? Three guesses on who I'm engaged too." she said. The entire male populous of the class groaned unhappily and Ranma was pelted with paper balls.
"Hey what did I do?" he cried.
"He did it again." muttered Daisuke
"You said it. Another babe down the tubes." muttered Hiroshi.

A few hours later Shun sat with Ranma and Akane at lunch and sighed. In front of her Ukyo and the newly arrived Shampoo were trying to force feed Ranma his lunch while he nervously protested and glanced back at Akane who was growing ever angrier at the boy.
Akane stood and was about to hit Ranma over the head when she felt herself fly across the school yard. "What is wrong with you?" said Shun angrily. Akane stared at her. "It's not his fault they won't leave him alone. I'll admit he could be a little more firm about it but look at him. He obviously can't stand them fawning over him like that. "Just because you get a little jealous doesn't give you the right to hit him!" she said flatly.
The other two were obviously annoyed at her comments. "You say husband no like Shampoo?" said the amazon standing in anger.
"Maybe he'd like you better if you'd lay off for a while." said Shun bitterly. "Looking at the way you two act makes me sick. No wonder he avoids you."
"Ranchan is this true?" asked Ukyo angrily.
"Uuuh, I Uhhh..." stammered Ranma. He was feeling more than a little cornered.
"Save it Ranma, we both know you'd never admit it. Your afraid of hurting their feelings. Your to damn noble for your own good." she said before walking away. "And now the trump card..." thought Shun with wicked laughter in her mind. She was enjoying this far to much, she loved showing these girls up.
"Maybe that is why I fell for you too." she said as she walked away.
"Shun?" said Ranma as he watched her go, helplessly in the grip of the two girls.
"No need stupid Yakatori girl, come to date with Shampoo Ranma." said Shampoo.
"Get your hand s off my fiancee!" cried Ukyo.
Akane got up and walked away angrily. "Akane wait!" said Ranma as he finally pushed the girls away and went after the angry girl.

One day Ranma stumbled into Shaun’s Yakatori place looking beaten and upset. "Hey Ranma whats up?" Asked Shun with concern as she helped him to the table and sat him down.
"Happosai did something to me." he said quietly.
"You mean these rumors?" she asked as she held up a folded piece of paper with 'Happy gram' written on it.
	"Yea." he replied.
"Well I suppose that you could stay here until you figure out what you want to do if you don't want to stay at home." Shun said with a giggle.
"What?!" said Ranma with wide eyes.
"I didn't mean that way you perv, we aren't married yet. I gotta cot in the back." she said with a serious look.
"No thanks, pop says he's got a plan." said Ranma sadly.
"Don't trust him?" asked Shun quietly.
"Not really." replied Ranma. "But I don't have much else. I just wanted to say good bye before I left."
"Your leaving?" said Shun in mock suprise. "Need some company?"
Ranma smiled and turned to walk out. "No thanks I've got someone coming already." he said sadly.
"Don't do any thing I wouldn't do." said Shun as Ranma walked out.
"Yea, thanks." he said with a small smile.

About a week later Ranma had returned with a new technique. The Hiryu Shouten Ha. He defeated Happosai and had his strength returned to him. Shun had been there cheering for him on the side lines.
A few weeks later Taro came, Shun fought along side Ranma with Ryoga Shampoo and Mousse to win back his 'One true love' back. Shampoo had been caught while trying to get rid of her. Shun had also had a close call with a missed tea kettle that almost revealed 'Her' true nature.
Niconlon and Togenkyo came and went, Herb, Mariko, Pink and link The Obstacle race, The dragon hair. All of Ranma's greatest battles and journeys, guess who tagged along? Like I would miss anything.

	Then came the Christmas party.

Shun smiled as Ryoga and Kuno were thrown from the window of the room they were waiting in by Mousse. She turned back to the 'deadly triangle' of her rivals. It glowed with battle aura and sheer jealousy. She sat on the bed Cheerfully and watched. After a moment of thought she ruffled through her bag and pulled out some marshmallows and a stick and stuck one over the three girls. It of course began to melt quite nicely.
"What are you doing?" said Ukyo looking annoyed.
	"I'm hungry." said Shun cheerfully.
Shampoo smiled a little in spite of herself.
"How like a commoner to carry such things on her person." said Kodachi scornfully.
"Five bucks says she has her ribbon on her." replied Shun with a grin.
	"That's different." she protested.
"She was right." said Ukyo with a grin.
"Who are you to talk 'spatula girl.'" snorted Shun playfully.
	Ukyo blushed and said nothing.
"Ha ha!" laughed Shampoo pointing at the other two girls. They glared at her and she kept quiet.

"Its amazing how she can stay calm like that in any situation." said Ranma as he watched with Soun from the doorway.
"I thought they were going to destroy the place for sure." Replied Soun with a relieved sigh.

Ranma was trapped on the roof with the girls taking turns and backstabbing each other for the chance to spend time alone with him. Shun walked up to him as he sat nervously waiting on the roof. "Hey Ranma." she said.
"So Nabiki got to you too?" he asked.
"Nabiki? What has she got to do with you being on the roof?" asked Shun.
Ranma tried to explain as best he could and Shun tried not to laugh.
"What did you get Akane?" she asked still smiling.
"Huh? Just a frame, for an old picture." he said to her.
"Really? That sounds nice. I bet she likes it." said Shun.
	"You think so?" asked Ranma.
"Hmm, Was it really worth what you paid for it though?" she asked him.
Ranma shook his head. "Not really." he said sheepishly.
"It's amazing how you get yourself into these things Ranma. Not much I can do this time I'm afraid. " said Shun as she to the edge and jumped down.
"That will be five thousand yen please." said Nabiki as Shun landed next to her.
"What?" said the confused girl as she looked around to see several of the others watching her angrily.
"For your time with Ranma." said Nabiki as if she was supposed to know.
"I don't have to pay you to talk to my friend." said Shun angrily.
Nabiki glared at her and stepped back. She had not been expecting this from one of them. She started to open her mouth when Shun stopped her.
"Don't even think of threatening me Nabiki Tendo. My temper with you has been short for some time now. I think you know what I mean." she said to her as she cracked her knuckles in warning.
Nabiki knew what she was talking about. Some how Shun had figured out what she was trying to do to Ranma during the whole Fiancee’ switch She had pulled a few months ago. She had made no efforts for her life like the other girls but also made it clear that if she hurt Ranma she would pay dearly. Ranma had come out all right in the end and nothing had really happened. After that her patience with the girl's actions had become thinner and thinner. She made no move to hide it.
"You don't like me. I don't care, because I know you wouldn't dare do anything to me. If only because of Ranma." said Nabiki with a confident smile.
	Shun only turned away.

A few hours later the party was over and Ranma was a mess. He was wearing a tattered scarf that looked like a fishnet and sitting on the porch looking peaceful with Akane. He saw Shun leaving through the gates of the dojo and jumped up to see her off. Akane growled at this but let it pass.
"Hey Ranma." said Shun as she walked.
	"Your still here?" asked Ranma.
"Yea, I had a talk with your father." said Shun smiling at him. "Merry Christmas." she said punching him lightly on the arm and walking away. Ranma looked in his hand and saw a small scroll. He opened it and gasped.
"Contract of betrothal" was written across the top, on the bottom was the word "Void" with "Merry Christmas" scrolled next to it.
"Shun chan?" said Ranma in disbelief as he watched her fade into the night.

Then came the decisive battle...The last sure thing before no man's land, The last scripted adventure after this, even I could not know where my life would lead me. The fight with Saffron. I was already packed to leave Nerima when I got back. Of course I would attend the near wedding, I couldn't miss that. I might even show up for the real thing. I would cry and pretend to be disappointed, even of it would only be a little. I would go back to being a man Twenty four seven instead of hiding it from every one I knew for fear of the game ending. Well, be a man most of the time anyway. It would be fun to visit every once and a while see how every one is doing. After all, I had an excuse to leave. My Yakatori place had gone through the roof It was considered one of the best in Japan. [And rightfully so I might add.] But the truth was, I was sick of my little fiancee game. I wanted a semi normal life again. Yea right....

It was all over, Shun was breathing hard and trying to look upset at what she saw. She had just spent the better part of three day's desperately avoiding the hot water that seemed to cover China at times. She had gotten hit several times and narrowly avoided being caught. Now she simply watched.
Ranma held the seemingly dead Akane in his arms and cried. "Akane I'm sorry I couldn't save you." he said and bowed his head.
"This isn't right." said Shun with a bewildered look.
Ryoga nodded his head in silent agreement. He was not taking the moment well at all.
Akane shifted and touched Ranma's face. His face lit up. "Your alive!" he cried hugging her in his arms.

	A week later...

Ranma sat on the porch and frowned. His parents had wanted to proceed with the wedding. I Imediately but he had refused, there was something he had to do first.
They sat before him and glared at each other. "First I would like to thank Shun. She made me realize that this was necessary." said Ranma with a serious look. Akane attempted to move closer to him and he shied away. Giving her a gentle look that told her this was not the time.
"First of all I have decided on who I am going to marry." he said.
"Oh, Ranma samma I knew you would decide on me in the end!" cried Kodachi as she sprung forward in an attempt to meet her beloved's embrace.
"It is not you." said Ranma looking at her calmly. His voice was shaky revealing his true emotions. He was not enjoying this.
"What?!" cried Kodachi as she stopped in mid leap. She stared at him and passed out in the middle of the group. They left her there.
Ukyo was the next to speak. "It isn't me is it Ranchan?" she said with a paled face. Her hands were shaking and she did not look well.
"N-no. I-I'm s-s..." started Ranma trying to keep his feelings bottled up. He wanted to jump up and tell her that he still hadn't decided and every thing would return to normal, but he knew he could not.
"Don't say it Ranma. I don't want to hear you ever say that to me." she said looking up. A forced smile appeared on her face. "I won't have it."
Ranma only paled even more and nodded to her. Shun could tell that she might not take it well later, Ranma would have to be careful.
Next to meet his gaze was Shampoo. She did not have to be told. She simply lept for Akane's throat with a feral snarl. Shun was the one to restrain her. "Do you really think he'll marry you if you kill her? You saw what he did to the last person who tried." she said simply.
Shampoo struggled and Shun held fast. "Shampoo, its over." she said.
The girl simply stopped moving in her arms. She stared at Akane with a bitter hatred in her eyes. Ukyo simply watched calmly.
She set Shampoo down and looked at Ranma who only returned her gaze. "I hope he lets me down gently." thought Shun a little bitterly as she stood and backed away from Shampoo.
"Akane I'm sorry." he said simply.
"Oh, shit." muttered Shun as she simply stared at Ranma in disbelief. "THIS WASN"T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!" cried her mind in panic. "I'm a guy! Dammit! How?! why?!" she thought as the world faded and she struggled to keep herself from fainting.
	"B-but Akane...I thought...you..." stammered Shun.
Akane simply stared at Ranma in silence. She had yet to move.
	"Why?" stammered Shun.
"Because you were always there for me, you protected me from others and myself, You never pressured or asked me for anything, You never hit me, tried to drug or trick me and because you broke off the engagement with me, you thought it would make my life easier. I was completely devastated when you did that to me. It took me a while to figure out why...I love you." said Ranma with a small smile on his lips.
"Oh, god no. He was supposed to love her. Not me dammit!" screamed his head as he tried to force himself calm.
"I broke off the engagement for entirely selfish reasons. I thought you wanted me to so that made it easier." said Shun as she still tried to calm down. "I was kind of hopping you would figure it out, the way I was always staring at you." she said blushing despite herself.
"There is someone else. Do I know them? Is it Ryoga?" asked Ranma as a defeated look crossed his face.
Shun sat and thought for five minutes before she spoke at last. “No, there isn't anyone else. I only went along with the engagement because I was obligated. I thought you wanted to break it so I did. I like you Ranma your my best friend but that is all there is. Ranma I'm gay." said Shun finally.
"What?" cried Ranma in shock. Ukyo and Shampoo stared at her both coming out of their respective trances at once.
	"What?!" they cried in unison.
"I'm a lesbian." said Shun quietly.

"I'm sorry Ranma I'll always be your friend." she said feeling sick to her stomach despite being fully aware of the irony of the situation.
She caught a glimmer in Ranma's eye and stopped him before he spoke. "I know what your thinking Ranma. You really think you can be a girl forever? Because that is exactly what I mean. The mere thought of a naked man makes me sick Ranma. I'm sorry but no matter how good it sounds It wouldn't work. I'll always think of you as a man no matter what form you take. What about your promise to your mother?" This got a decided reaction out of Ranma that told her he had reconsidered. "I will not let you do that to yourself. I am sorry." said Shun calmly with that she got up and began to walk out. "I'm leaving Nerima tomorrow. I am truly sorry for this, I thought I didn't have a chance. I will always be your friend Ranma, please remember that." she said as she left.

And that's what happened. I still stop by when I go to Nerima now. I return to my female personality and relive old times. Ranma got over me and ended up with Akane and I got on with my own life as a man finally. When I look back I realize how stupid it all was. I think about what I did and laugh other times. All in all I have no real regrets, allot of times I think to my self "What was I thinking when I did that?!" But it was fun. I am sorry that I hurt my friends in the end, but as I said before the Irony did not escape me....

	The end.
