There's lots of free space available, anywhere from
3-10MB at different places.

Time-consuming for many and unnecessary. The RAAC archives log all fics
that have been posted to the RAAC. Even if you don't have access to that
particular newsgroup, there's info on the FFML homepage that gives an
e-mail address for submitting fics, and the FTP site for archived fics.
It's likely that the author submitted the fic, since most of us want as
wide of an audience as possible. After all, if I take the trouble of
writing a fanfic, I want it read!

If you really want Chapters 1-25 of Lina meets Linna, and you're having
trouble with the FTP site, you have two more options.

The first is a big honkin list of all fics posted to the FFML. (No, my
mistake. The maintainer seperated them, so it's now 28 big honkin lists).
The second is a Usenet search, so type the e-mail header fragment and hit
search.

While we're doing courtesy requests, here's mine. Ladies and gents, DO
NOT post a fic request to the FFML at large unless you've spent at least
five minutes in the RAAC archive, the two sites above, and the Anipike
looking for the thing. I get really annoyed when people post things like
'Where can i get da fic called Mirrors Multiplied???!!!' when the RAAC
archive lists it as ranma.sm.mirrors.multiplied. Is it that difficult to
recognize, if you know the title?

The sardines weren't worth the trouble. A few more shots, then
Ryoga-san would overheat and explode. Ducking around a corner,
I managed to lose him as I entered the ramshackle residence of
my Anime supplier.

One look at his face and I knew that I was betrayed. "Tell me."
I insisted. He refused, so I slammed him against the wall.
"Last chance. Where can Ranma-Ranma find good fanfics?"
"Try Jason Liao." he whispered, before he slumped to the floor.
I heard the sounds of a door splintering as I left through the
window, one step ahead of Tendo Heavy Industries...
